The strange lion

Jedi and King follow Kiara and Kovu asking questions but getting no answer.

Eventually, they arrive at Hakuna matata falls, a small waterfall and jungle.

The boys look around and take in some views and smells but get confused.

"This is nice, but why bring us here?" Jedi asks, confused

"Yeah it's just a jungle." King says even more confused.

"It's more than a jungle. This is where my dad brought me to play when I was a cub, and I'm doing the same with you." Kiara says, smiling.

"Who's that by the water?" King says, looking towards a strange looking lion cub.

"I... don't know." Kiara says, looking at Kovu.

Kovu shrugs, "I've never seen him or anyone like him." referring to his fur color

Jedi and King look at each other "Duck it." they confidently say walking towards the lone black lion.

The lion cub is looking into the water, looking lost as the boys approach him.

He's lost in thought until King energetically says, "HI," and Jedi sighs.

The lion skeptically looks at them, "'ello, what do you want?" He says in an annoyed tone with a British accent.

"Who are you? I'm just wondering." Jedi says, smiling.

The lion looks around and notices the royal family "The name's Lycan." he says while shaking his head, allowing his white tuff to show.

"What's with your fur?" King asks but gets hit in the head by the Jedi. "Don't ask that." Jedi says.

Lycan howls a yawn catching both boys off guard, "I'm half wolf, which is why I have wolf's fur."

"Wolf? That's cool..." Jedi says, realizing they are similar, "You're like me?"

"What?" Lycan asks while King mumbles, "Dirty hybrids."

"I'm a hybrid too, but I'm half cheetah." Jedi says," Glad he's not the only weirdo. "

"Cool." Lycan says as he gets up to leave.

"Where you goin'?" King asks, not really caring.

Lycan shrugs, "Wanna see something cool." Lycan says, rubbing some dirt on his fur.

"Sure." Both the boys say as Lycan walks into a bush and disappears without a scent or any trail.

"Lycan?" Jedi says, not expecting him to disappear.

"I guess he's gone." King says before getting pounced on from behind.

Lycan laughs from on top of him "Gotcha." he says before getting off the stunned King.

Meanwhile, Kiara and Kovu smile at the 3 young lions playing together.

Jedi laughs at King before getting pinned himself by Lycan. "I'm stronger than both of you."

"No fair, you caught us off guard." Jedi says still under Lycan.

"You would've flipped me by now if you were stronger." Lycan cockily says.

Jedi is silent as Lycan laughs in his face before getting off.

"I'm faster I'd bet." Jedi says cockily as Lycan rolls his eyes.

"Obviously." He sassily says.

"I could beat you." King says cockily. "I'm the fastest lion in the world.
