Chapter: The Aftermath

After Taehyung was released from the rehabilitation center, he finally met Jungkook again.

Jungkook's eyes were sharp and intense. He sat on edge, constantly scanning the room, his body tense, alert - like he was waiting for something to go wrong.

Everyone was gathered in the living room. Seokjin, not feeling well, was lying on the couch, with Jimin seated beside him. On the opposite side of the room, Jungkook sat with Kai, his gaze fixed protectively on Seokjin. He hadn't relaxed for a second.

Then Taehyung stepped out of the washroom.

Jungkook immediately straightened up. The moment Taehyung smiled - just a small, seemingly innocent smile directed at Seokjin - Jungkook's jaw tensed. His whole body went rigid.

And when Taehyung casually reached out his arm toward Seokjin, Jungkook snapped.

He rushed across the room and shoved Taehyung with such force that he stumbled and fell to the ground.

"Hyung!" Jimin gasped, quickly going to help him up.

But Jungkook didn't stop. He reached Seokjin, pulled him up protectively, and started gently patting his back - checking if he was okay, as if making sure he was still real. His eyes never left Taehyung, glaring at him with raw fury.

"What happened?" Jimin asked, helping Taehyung up, concern etched into his voice.

Taehyung just gave a small, strained smile.

"I was saying we should head back. You were so caught up in talking... I only reached out when you smiled at me," he said gently.

Seokjin looked up at Jungkook, realizing immediately that it had all been a misunderstanding. But he didn't say anything. Jungkook's heartbeat was loud and erratic - he was barely holding himself together.

"My limit has been reached," Jungkook said quietly, almost to himself. "You should go. Just... go. I can't take any more."

His grip tightened slightly on Seokjin's shoulders. Seokjin offered him a small, calming smile.

"Kai, please see them out," Jungkook added.

Later that night, Jungkook sat on the edge of the bed, lost in thought. His body was still, but his mind was racing. Seokjin stood in the doorway, silently watching him, unsure how to reach through the wall of pain Jungkook had built around himself.

Kai came over and gave Seokjin a small nod, signaling that he was heading out. Seokjin followed him to the door.

"How's he doing?" Kai asked quietly.

Seokjin sighed. "I... I don't know."

He looked down, conflicted. He trusted Jimin's word - that Taehyung had changed, that he no longer had any intentions of hurting anyone. But convincing Jungkook was another matter.

"It's hard for him," Kai said gently. "You remember when he rescued you from Taehyung at that barn?"

Seokjin nodded slowly, a shadow crossing his face. That memory still hurt.

"I saw Jungkook that day. He was shattered. And you didn't even know then that Taehyung was his brother. But he did. He knew everything that had happened... and he blamed himself. All of it."

Seokjin's heart clenched. He had known Jungkook was angry, even broken, over what happened - but he hadn't realized how deeply that guilt ran.

He turned away, heading to the kitchen to gulp down a glass of water, trying to ground himself. Then he walked back into their room.

Jungkook hadn't moved.

Seokjin walked over and knelt on the floor in front of him, his heart aching at the pain written across Jungkook's face. His eyes shimmered with tears.

"I love you, Jungkook," he whispered. "So much. There's no one in this world who could love me the way you do. But I can't bear seeing you like this - hurting, blaming yourself for something you didn't do."

Jungkook looked away, eyes glassy, jaw clenched. But Seokjin gently cupped his cheeks, guiding his gaze back to him.

"Look at me," he said softly. "This look in your eyes... it's killing me. Let's leave this place. Just you and me. Let's start a new life - a new chapter. Please, Jungkook."

Jungkook suddenly pulled him into a hug, arms wrapped tightly around him. His breath hitched, and then the dam finally broke. He cried - loud, painful sobs that had been held in for far too long.

"I'm sorry," Jungkook choked out. "I'm so sorry all of this happened to you. I hate myself - hate that it was my brother who hurt you. I hate it so much. I wish... I wish I could erase everything."

Seokjin pulled back slightly, wiping Jungkook's tears away. He looked deep into his lover's eyes and kissed him, slow and tender.

"Shhh... I'm not holding onto any of that anymore. What happened... happened. But we're still here. Let's focus on building what's ahead of us. Okay?"

Jungkook nodded slowly and leaned into him again, kissing Seokjin's face with reverence, as if trying to heal every wound he never caused.

"Let's take a shower," Seokjin suggested, standing up. "Then get some sleep."

But Jungkook pulled him back, locking his arms around Seokjin's waist.

"We're not sleeping tonight," he whispered. "I need to feel you... every part of you. But not here."

Seokjin blinked, confused, but followed when Jungkook took his hand and led him into the bathroom. They sank into the warm water of the bathtub together. Seokjin leaned against him, breathing in the quiet.

Jungkook was typing on his phone for a few minutes, then finally set it down.

"We have a flight to Bali in three hours," he said calmly.

Seokjin's eyes widened in shock. "What?! We need to pack!"

He started to get up, but Jungkook pulled him right back down onto his lap.

"Where are you going?" he murmured, lips brushing Seokjin's ear.

"Jungkook, we seriously-"

"What we need to do right now..." he said, eyes locking with his, voice deep and unwavering, "...is for you to feel me."

Jungkook's gaze was darker than the ocean - intense, full of love and aching need.

"I won't kiss you," he whispered, pulling Seokjin in closer. "Not yet."

And Seokjin could only gasp, heat flooding through him, as he felt Jungkook's need pressing against him beneath the water - raw, urgent, unspoken.

"won't kiss you., not yet"

seokjin just moaned and gasped feeling jungkook's hard member poking his enterance.
