What If:
Mythical Ended Differently

In an alternate ending, it would end like this:

Ashton:Stands outside portal next to Bandit, looks back at Darla and Bane "You 2 coming?"
Bane:Nods "Yeah. You and Bandit go, we'll catch up afterwards."

*Bandit ran through the portal. Ashton looked through, looked back at Darla and Bane before going into the portal. There's white, no sound or other color. Until, there's beeping. Heart monitor-like beating. Ashton woke up, first thing he saw was a hospital room. Followed with the feeling of a slight headache, and lots of bandages.*

Ashton:A bit dazed and very confused
Ashton's mom:Bursts into the room, eyes already watery "ASHTON!" Hugs him, not too tightly knowing his condition at the moment
Ashton:"M-Mom?..-"
Ashton's Mom:"You scared me half to DEATH, don't ever do that again..."
Ashton:"W-What happened??.. Why am I in the hospital?..."
Ashton's Mom:"You were missing for 2 days... there was a whole community search for you- and you were unconscious in forest ditch.... You got a concussion.... The doctors thought they would have had to give up on you..... But you're ok- because you did wake up.. I knew you would...."
Ashton:In shock ""Community search"?.."
Ashton's Mom:Nods "The neighbors, most of the people from your school, even people who didn't know you at all helped look for you..."
Ashton:"W-Wait.. so what about Darla and Bane??.."
Ashton's Mom:Confused "Who?..."
Ashton:"... N-Nevermind..." Looks around the room "Where's Bandit?..."
Ashton's Mom:"H-He's ok too.. but-"
Ashton:Concerned "But??"
Ashton's Mom:"Nothing bad. He's just at the vet.. He followed you and fell in the same ditch, his arm was fractured... but it's not permanent. He just needs time for it to heal. Other than that, he's perfectly fine."
Ashton:Calms down
Ashton's Mom:"Ashton, I know that last time I talked to you was a bit.. rough... but I didn't mean it, I just was really stressed and said-"
Ashton:Hugs back "I know.. I love you."
Ashton's Mom:Caught off guard "I... I love you too...."

Stuff that wasn't really specific in this:

Where is Darla and Bane?
They weren't real (in this ending, the actual ending they are real don't worry ^^). Everything that happens in Mythical was made up in Ashton's mind while he was in a concussion. Darla was a form of Ashton's mom wanting to adopt a child and Bane was a form of that empty father space in Ashton's home life.

What would've happened if Ashton didn't wake up from the concussion?
Obviously he'd be dead, but also, if Ashton didn't wake up that would also mean Ashton also didn't make it out of the World of Worlds. So if he had died at all in the World of Worlds, that's when he would die in real life.

Was Bandit in the World of Worlds the real Bandit?
No, that Bandit was just the form of Bandit following Ashton after he ran away.

Again none of the stuff above is cannon to the actual Mythical, this is just a lil alternate ending I thought of when thinking of the actual ending. I thought it was kinda sad that Bane and Darla didn't actually exist (I thought that was sad at the, just wait til I get to the end of the first Only Half book.. 💀💀)
