Andreas' POV
Andreas flipped through the reports of the recent attacks, his frustration was never fading. Roman and whoever else was incharge of this case hardly did anything or gave him anything to work with. The mystery attackers harmed some, killed some, kidnapped some, there was no clear way of seeing their reasons behind it.
His eyebrow raised in curiosity as he read the report from the Willow family, their case was rather different from the others. The attackers got close to him before attempting to kill him but luckily failed. He noted down on a sticky note how the attackers could want something from them.
He glanced up at the clock and was more than glad to leave the stack of papers that needed serious attention and go for legion practice. He pranced down the stairs, through the open foyer doors and onto trimmed green grass, the mid-day sun hitting his face. He ambled past the legion barracks and into the massive training hall a little furter from it. The Cyprise Legion had acres and acres of land to freely practise with effectivity, the training hall was massive and tall having three floors that was attached to the wall and was used for the archers to practise hitting moving human targets and the Legion to practise dodging arrows. But still allowed those at the bottom to see till the ceilings, the hall was only used when the weather wasn't the best but which was common in Cyprise. He entered and greeted some Legion helpers who occupied the small entrance hall, he made his way to one of the large locker rooms where he found the most of the Legion members stretching and changing. Not many noticed his presence, when it came to training they weren't as formal. He scanned the river of teens and found that alluring girl sitting beside a freakeshly tall boy stretching her hamstrings. He leaned against a post and watched her. They seemed to be having a good conversation as she was laughing.
So she is in the Legion.
"You in love Andreas ?" jeered a voice
He laughed, if anything, he was pissed that Phil hadn't gotten her out already. He turned to the owner of the voice, Theo, he'd been in the legion for six years now. He was suppose to graduate last year but Commander didn't find him ready to become a knight, he was nearing twenty, they've gotten moderately close since last year.
"No, I'm not in love," he answered nonchalantly not giving the comment attention
"Looks like it," Theo chuckled resting his arm on Andreas shoulder
"Who is she ?"
"Laura I think, from what I've heard from the new recruits she's ruthless in the ring bro, and she's a girl." He snorted the last part
Andreas nodded as he dwelled on that information, it was a first seeing a girl in the Legion, though it didn't seem to faze anyone, it was actually quite refreshing having a girl here, it makes the Legion more inclusive and diverse. Hopefully she's more intelligent and sane than most of the boys here.
They stared at her for a few more seconds before Andreas snapped himself back into reality and pushed off Theo's hand.
"I gotta change." He told, finding his locker and changing from his formal clothes to the Legion training clothes which was a grey top and shorts set having the Kingdom crest at the back.
Five minutes passed when a bell rang, the Legion sprung up from their comfy positions on the floor and emptied the locker rooms and filled the vast training arena. The wooden floors were splinter less and light poured in from the ceiling window above them. They stood before a wooden pedestal gazing up at Captain and the Head Legion Knight, Commander as they all called him.
"Welcome once again, new recruits to the Cyprise Legion and to your first training." Commander bellowed "Your first few days will be quite an ease, we've decided to give you some time to adjust to your new surroundings and new lifestyle. We won't do anything to extreme on you guys yet. We don't want any of you crying for your parents by the end of your first day."
