I arrive at work early like I do everyday to get coffee before it gets cold, since it sits on the counter all day. As my coffee is filling up I begin to look through the case files I grabbed off my desk. While looking through a file I hear footsteps walking towards me. Derek puts a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey kid, Hotch wants to talk to us."
"Why?" I don't look up, I continue to read the case file.
"We are meeting our new team member."
"Is she here already?"
"Yeah, get up so we can properly meet her."
"Did you recognize her when you walked by the office?"
"No, I don't recognize her. Rossi told me she came from the child abduction division. I think you're going to like her pretty boy. She's about your age and sexy."
"Stop trying to help me get girls. I'm fine being alone." I roll my eyes at Derek.
"Whatever you say pretty boy. Let's go meet her."
I grab my coffee and follow Derek.
"Hey guys. You heading to the briefing room?" Emily and JJ question from behind us.
"Yeah," we reply in unison.
"What do you think about the new girl joining the team?" JJ asks.
"I think this girl will be good for the team........and pretty boy." Derek replies with laughter. Emily and JJ laugh along with Derek as we continue walking. I stay quiet. There is no point in trying to argue with Derek, especially when the topic is girls. When we walk in the room Penelope is enthusiastically shaking a woman's hand. My eyes travel immediately to take in every detail about her. She has beautiful gold blonde hair that falls straight down her back and stops right above her hip. From her standing position I can see that she has a perfect hourglass figure. She is about 5'6". She is wearing a scarlet, form fitting blouse with skinny jeans.
"Everyone this is agent Rose. Please make her feel welcomed." Hotch says.
I try but fail to hold in a gasp when she turns around. As her beautiful, chocolate brown eyes scan each member of the team they fill with curiosity and excitement. When her eyes fall on me, her face lights up. I drop my coffee. She moves her perfectly heart-shaped, pink lips to speak. "Spencer!"
