Mia
When I park the car Spencer studies the apartments. The amusement in his eyes comes back.
"I don't see an apartment resembling a castle."
"Oh shut up," I say teasingly.
"How long ago did you move here?" Spencer asks as we walk through the metal gates and up the four flights of stairs leading to my apartment.
"Three weeks ago."
"So what made you want to leave the children's division? I know you love children. Why join our team?"
We reach my door and I get my keys from my pocket.
"I was constantly being moved to different locations. My team and I would have to stay weeks to check on the family. After awhile I got tired of moving from apartment to apartment." I unlock the door and we walk in. Spencer finds the light switch. I continue answering Spencer's question. "I was looking for a job in the children's division but there were no openings. My boss was helping me look and she told me that I should try your team. I knew your team didn't focus on children but I really wanted to stay in one area. So I met with Hotch and he told me that I would be a great addition to the team."
"I'm glad you did because now we can see each other more. W-would y-you like.......to get coffee with me when we get back from this case?"
"I would love to."
I watch Spencer explore my apartment. My apartment had everything I need and more. I have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen that's opens into a small living room. His eyes examine everything. They sparkle when he notices the children books and toys I have in a bin by the TV in the living room.
"Who's are these? Are they yours?"
"No," I laugh. "I foster children when I can."
"Really? You never told me you wanted to do that."
I open the door to my bedroom and walk in with Spencer trailing behind.
"I never thought about doing it. I once had a case where a girls' parents were shot and she was kidnapped. When we found her she didn't have any family that wanted her. I decided to let her live with me until she was adopted. When she left I realized that I liked having someone to care for so I become a foster mom."
I walk to my closet to take out clothes to pack.
"That's amazing."
"I'm glad I did it. I have fun having kids around. I haven't housed any kids since I moved. I think I'm going to see if there are any kids that aren't being taken by foster parents when we solve this case."
"That's a great idea. Do you need me to help you pack?"
"Yeah. Can you get my toothbrush and toothpaste from the bathroom."
"Sh-sh-sure."
"Spencer I've know you for a long time and I know you stutter when you're nervous. Is it really that nerve racking to touch my toothbrush?"
"Maybe"
I laugh as he speed walks to the bathroom blushing.

Spencer
Am I serious? I'm scared to touch her toothbrush? Come on Spencer get a hold of yourself. I have never been this nervous around her. Why are my feelings towards her showing now?
I walk out of the bathroom with Mia's toothbrush and toothpaste.
"Where do you want me to put them?"
"On the bed please."
As I head to Mia's bed I watch her take out her clothes. She is so beautiful. Why have I never told her?
When I put the toothbrush and toothpaste on the bed Mia comes over with her suitcase. I watch as she folds her clothes and places them in the bag. When she is done putting everything in the suitcase she zips it up and grabs the handle.
"I think I packed everything. We should go. I don't want to be late and get Hotch mad."
"Ok."
We walk out of Mia's bedroom and to the front door. Mia keeps sneaking looks around her apartment making sure she didn't leave anything behind. She takes her keys out of her pocket and locks the door. We descend down the stairs and jump in Mia's jeep. She puts the keys in the ignition and we drive back to the BAU headquarters.
