Chapter 13: Does He Want To Be More Than Friends?

Did Spencer actually kiss my forehead last night or did I imagine it.
I've been going over what happened last night for the past hour of the plane ride home. Spencer hasn't said anything about kissing my forehead last night but then again I didn't ask him.
Should I? Would things get weird between us?
We have 1 more hour of the plane ride left and everyone had found a way to keep themselves occupied.
Rossi is talking to Hotch. JJ is doing something with her phone. Derek is listening to music. I'm reading and Emily is playing poker with Spencer. That's a bad move on her part because no one can beat Spencer. I'm just about to start another chapter in my book when Derek sits next to me.
"Did you have fun with Pretty Boy last night?" Derek asks wiggling his eyebrows.
I realize what Derek was hinting at and I answer him, "Yes I had a lot of fun last night talking and eating. Nothing else happened. We're just friends."
Does the kiss count as something? No. It was just a friendly kiss good night. Is that a thing? Are we just friends? Do I want to be more than friends?
"Really?" Derek questions. He lowers his voice before continuing. "Because I think Pretty Boy wants to be more than friends."
I look to my left at Spencer. He is looking over at me with curiosity sparkling in his eyes. I mouth later and he smiles, going back to the game of poker he was playing with Emily. I turn to ask Derek why he thinks Spence want to be more than friends but I notice he moved to talk to JJ.
He is just messing with me. But why would he do that? Maybe Derek is right and I haven't been paying attention. Spencer has never be great in the love area. Even if he does want to be more than friends do I want to?
