Once the boys had broken up and calmed down, Tony put everyone to work painting benches. A stupid, shitty job but at least it was easy and didn't require too much effort. Annabelle was standing behind one, mindlessly dragging the brush across the wood. She wasn't paying much attention to what she was doing anymore. Cap kid, who she'd learned was named Gary, was crouched in front of the same bench, his head bowed. They hadn't been speaking, though Annabelle didn't mind much. She was startled out of her calm state as he suddenly jumped up. "Man there's paint on my cap! This is bullshit!" He snapped, walking off and kicking a can of paint into the water. Followed by starting to attack a lone shopping trolley. Alisha laughed and Annabelle just rolled her eyes. No wonder he was in community service. He was acting like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum.

She went back to painting, planning on just getting the shit over with as soon as she could. However, the people here just seemed hellbent on making sure she couldn't have peace and quiet. "You've been awfully quiet this whole time," Curls spoke up, and Annabelle wasn't sure who he was talking to until she glanced up and he was staring right at her. "What's your name, quiet girl?" He asked with a sly grin, not even bothering to hide the way he was looking her up and down. She wrinkled her nose a little in annoyance, but answered him anyway. "Annabelle," She muttered slowly, immediately adding, "Don't call me Annabelle, though. Y'can call me anything else, but not that."

Curls raised his brows a bit, his stupid little grin still on his face. "Oooh," He swayed his hips a little and waggled his eyebrows at her. "All right, what about Belle? Annie? Anna? Anna Banana?" He listed off nicknames and Annabelle just blinked at him. "Those are fine." Curly head's grin seemed to brighten as he twirled his paintbrush around in his hand. "Great! Well, I'm Nathan." Annabelle only eyed him a bit before looking back down to the bench in front of her. She was a little more focused on the painting now, mostly just because she wanted everyone to leave her alone. "Hello, Nathan." The boy looked rather pleased. With himself, or with Annabelle, she wasn't sure. He was obnoxious, she knew that for sure. Pretty, definitely. But obnoxious. Nathan had now turned his attention to Blondie, who she'd learned was named Kelly. "So. I'm guessin'... shoplifting?" When she didn't respond he tilted his head. "No?" The woman glanced up at him with an irritated look. "Don't act like ya know me, 'cause ya don't." She told him firmly. Nathan scrunched his nose a little at her defensiveness. "Hey, I'm jus' makin' conversation! This is a chance to network with other young offenders." He protested as he gestured between the two of them. "We should be swappin' tips. Brainstormin'... c'mon, what did you do?" He insisted and she gave in, though her eyes were still on the bench she was painting.

"This girl called me a slag so I just got into a fight." She explained simply. "Was this on the Jeremy Kyle Show?" Nathan mocked though his tone somehow stayed the same cool one it had been. "No, it was in Argos." Kelly huffed, clearly getting fed up with him. Nathan murmured the word under his breath. "Y'know what you should've done? Y'should've got one of those little pens and jabbed it in her eye." His lips pulled back into a smile as he made the motion of jabbing someone in the eye. Annabelle winced a bit at the phantom pain she seemed to feel at the idea. The blonde just stared at Nathan with a mix of frustration and disgust. "What about you, weird kid?" The curly-haired man suddenly questioned, looking at Simon. The brunette looked up slowly. "Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but you look like a panty-sniffer." Nathan smiled as he made a sniffing sound and pretended to hold something up to his nose.

Annabelle glanced up with a small frown. "Oh, leave him alone." She huffed gently out her nose. "I'm not a panty-sniffer." Simon defended himself, his blue eyes darting between Nathan and Annabelle momentarily. "I'm not a pervert." He grumbled softly as he shifted his attention back down to the bench he was crouched in front of. Annabelle assumed that was the end and did the same, until she heard Nathan making some gross grunting noise and when she looked up he was pretending to wank himself off. Her nose wrinkled in disgust as he walked closer to Simon. The boy in question's head jerked up. "I tried to burn someone's house down!" He confessed with a glare. Nathan made some weird whimper type of noise before grinning and walking off towards Kelly.
