The cat seemed happy enough spending the night in Annabelle's flat. She'd checked once getting home, and found out it was a girl. She'd need to think of a name for the little devil. The ball of fur had gone and hidden under the bed for a while until Annabelle cracked open another can of tuna, which made her scamper out into the kitchen and snarf down her third can.
Annabelle made a mental note to pick up some cat things the next day after community service.
When she left in the morning, she'd put the kitten in the bathroom with two more cans of tuna, so she wouldn't come home to cat piss or shit all over her carpet.
Once she'd gotten to the community center and everyone had gotten changed, Nathan was already going on about the naked man from the day before. Annabelle wasn't completely paying attention to what he was talking about while she swept up the floor until he came running over, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and making her startle. "Look, look, see?" He held up a phone with a picture pulled up and she wrinkled her nose. "What the hell am I lookin' at?"
He frowned. "Cock... anus... a bit of ballsack?" He used the hand that was around her shoulders to point at what he was talking about. She groaned softly. "Euugh... what's that?" She lifted her free hand to point at a bit of flesh on the phone. Nathan looked at her. "That's ballsack."
"That's fuckin' nasty." Annabelle retorted, shaking her head. He huffed a bit before rushing over to Simon and showing him the disturbing photo, which the shorter man seemed amused by. "What's that?"
"That's cock!"
Simon just grinned.
"Look, this guy is livin' with my mum, we've gotta do somethin'!" Nathan insisted, throwing his arms out. Kelly scoffed softly as she walked around to pick up a chair. "Like what?" Nathan thought for a moment before his eyes lit up. "Can y'get me a gun?"
Kelly lifted her head and raised her brows. "I ain't gettin' ya a gun."
"C'mon, ya know someone right? Just a little one, nothin' too lairy." Kelly just let out a disbelieving laugh. "There's no way I'm gettin' a dickhead... like ya.. a gun." She replied firmly.
Simon lifted his phone, aiming it at Nathan. "You can get a gun off the Internet." He piped up, ignoring the stare he got from Annabelle.
Nathan ignored him. "What if we go round there tonight, we'll talk to 'im? We'll be mature and polite, yeah? And then we'll just tell 'im to fuck off!" He explained his apparent little plan, brows knitting together in concern.
"What if he says no?"
He sputtered a bit, throwing a hand up. "Wh... I don't know. We'll improvise." He muttered with a small shake of his head. "So, who's with me?" He looked around at the other misfits, who all just stared in silence. He let out a scoff and set his hands on his hips. "It's like that, is it? So much for bein' united by a horrific, life-changing, shared experience."
When he was just met with more silent staring he continued. "Last week? You know? The situation..." Nothing.
"We killed our probation worker!"
He was immediately shushed by everyone. Annabelle slapped him on the shoulder, huffing at the yelp he let out. "You're such a dickhead." Kelly hissed.
Nathan frowned. "That counts for nothing?" He demanded.
Annabelle just shook her head a bit, continuing to sweep up the floors. He was such a bloody prick, it was almost insane.
They'd been given the stupid job of cleaning up the community center after the 'oldies' night the day before. It wasn't horrible, but it was still boring. Annabelle was mostly sweeping, and she stuck in one of her headphones- Paramore blasting in her ear. She'd spaced out on her task until she heard someone behind her. "Annie." Nathan was suddenly a few inches from her ear. His proximity made her startle, her head whipping around.
