It was Valentine's Day and I was sitting in my office finishing up work. I leaned back in my chair In exhaustion. I seen what time it was on my computer, 11:45pm Damn. I took out my phone and asked Angie if she could bring me some food, I just got 45 minutes left on this contract, and I need to eat something, she agreed so I decided to wait for her. I opened my instagram and scrolled, till I seen the Mutual friends category. I stopped when I noticed Kalii profile, of course she's mutual friends with a lot of people I am. I naturally clicked on her profile, Damn the girl got followings, I looked at her whole life from college till now, the last post she made was few days ago and she looks so good. "Damn." I said licking my lips. I'd be lying if I didn't say she wasn't still attractive, the women is gorgeous. I kept scrolling and seen pictures of Evan, he's not a bad looking dude I guess. "Knock knock." Angie said knocking on the door. I quickly put my phone down. "Hey." I said to her, "Hey, I got your food." Angie said walking over moving things on my desk to put the food down. "Thank you Ang, I appreciate it." I told her then trying to help her.
"I'm literally your assistant, it's my job. No thank you needed." She said to me. We sat down on the couch and started eating.

"So how was your friends engagement dinner?" She asked me, it was definitely awkward, at least for me. "It was good, you know. I'm the best man." I told her, she gently shoved me. "No way, that's amazing! That's a lot of responsibility though." She said, I gave her look. "Girl I know." I said and she laughed. "But it's not too much for my best friend." I told her, finishing up my meal. "That's so sweet,  he means that much to you." She said to me, I was so busy finishing my water bottle, by the time I turned around I wasn't prepared for her to kiss me. I backed  up quickly, in shock. "I am, so sorry." She said to me,  "wait, just wait." I told her getting off the couch, I grabbed my water bottle and rinsed my mouth out in the bathroom, luckily she was still sitting there when I came back. "You're good, I just wasn't prepared to eat another meal." I told her gently stroking her thigh, I kissed her neck as she moaned gently for me, I leaned her back onto the touch, the rest.. well you know what I do.

"Congratulations to us on making it our one year anniversary." Evan said sitting across from me at the table as we hold up our glasses to toast, "and; congratulations to YOU! For working hard to get your doctorate degree." I said to him, he grinned at me, trying to be modest. " Congratulations to Us." He said, "To Us." I second, as we drank our wine. "I am really proud of you Evan, you went back to school for classes and any day now you're going to start your internship." I told him, trying to get him excited. He chuckled. "Thank you babe, but first the hospital has to accept my residency first and with them making budget cuts." He began to rant; I grabbed his hand gently to give his reassurance. "They're going to accept you, their going to love you, and your going to be the best damn doctor in New York." I told him with confidence, he laughed, "Not even the world?" He asked me, "oh no, as many bbl's is out here in the world, I know there's doctors struggling with what they got." I said to him, we both laughed. "What would I do without you?" He asked me, "nothing.. I bring the glitter to your life." I said sarcastically, he chuckled. "And hopefully, I can have that for the rest of my life." He told me, softly touching my hand. The waiter came thankfully and broke that up. After Jayson I don't think marriage is something I want right now, or maybe ever? I don't know but definitely not now, I think. "Hi would you guys like more Wine?" He asked us, "yes please." Eagerly I said picking up the menu. Evan phone rang, and was hoping it was about his residency, he gestured he'll be right back, and of course I left him go, this is too important for him to not take that call outside. I ordered another bottle and waited alil before I took out my phone.

I took my phone out my purse and went to Instagram, Jayson sent me a friend request. I was shocked, I didn't even knew he had my Instagrams, before accepting the request I definitely stalked his page, it was pictures and videos of him living his best life. From crazy nights at the club, To snowy mountains in the Alpa mountains , this man sure as been living his life like it's golden, but still every picture couldn't deny the fact that he still was fine ass fuckkk, after the trip I been trying to keep my mind right but ever since seeing Jayson again it's like everything is scrambled. I accepted his friend request and put my phone away, I can't think about this right now, not when I've got an amazing guy, doing things like this for me on our anniversary. Evan came back and sat the table quietly. "Hey, wassup you okay?" I asked him, scared for his answer. "They accepted my residency." He said putting a smile on on both our faces. "I told you!" I said to him as we got up and kissed each other. "Doctor Evan Williams, head of ED for Mount Sanai hospital." I said to him, officially putting a stamp on it, "about that." He said taking my hand to sit me back down. "What?" I asked concerned. "Mount sanai wasn't the only hospital to accept me; UCLA medical center always wants me." He said to me trying to soften the blow. "As in Los Angeles?" I asked needing confirmation. "I haven't accepted anything yet, I wanted to talk to you about it first." He said to me, "I mean what is there to say? You've obviously made your decision." I told him, he started to get defensive. "I didn't make ANY decisions yet, that's why I'm literally telling you right now. I wouldn't do that to us." He said to me, "but applying to a residency that's across the ocean, without telling me, is that something you wouldn't do to us?" I asked him, the conversation definitely ended after that ruining our good evening. "I should take you home." He told me, calling the waiter for the check. The rest of the night surely didn't end with much talking or sex.
