Liams POV

I was sprawled on the couch, headphones in, blasting some music to drown out the chaos in my mind. Between classes and the unexpected kiss with Valerie, I couldn't focus on anything. My thoughts kept circling back to her—how she looked today, the way her hair fell just right, and that spark in her eyes when she smiled. It was like a fucking drug, and I was hooked.

Suddenly, a knock on the door jolted me out of my thoughts. I pulled the headphones off, glancing at the clock. "Who the hell could that be?" I muttered to myself. I wasn't expecting anyone.

When I opened the door, there she was. Valerie stood on the threshold, looking a bit flustered, as if she had just run a marathon. "Hey," she said, her voice a little breathless. "I hope I'm not interrupting."

I stepped aside to let her in, my heart racing for reasons I couldn't fully comprehend. "No, not at all. I was just... uh, chilling. Come in."

As she walked past me, I caught a whiff of her scent—something floral and fresh. It sent a jolt through me, reminding me just how much I craved her presence. "What's up?" I asked, trying to keep my tone casual even though my mind was racing.

"I just wanted to talk," she said, her eyes darting around the room, avoiding my gaze. "Things have been... weird lately."

"Yeah, you could say that," I replied, leaning against the wall, crossing my arms. "Especially after, you know... that kiss."

She bit her lip, and I could see the flush creeping up her cheeks. "I didn't mean for it to happen, Liam. It just... happened."

"Didn't mean for it to happen?" I scoffed, trying to keep my frustration in check. "Are you serious? I thought we both felt something. You're the one who kissed me."

"I know, but things with Julien... it's complicated," she said, her voice laced with uncertainty. "I'm engaged to him, and I don't want to fuck things up."

"Then why are you here?" I shot back, unable to hide the edge in my voice. "If you're just going to stand there and second-guess everything, then what's the point?"

Valerie sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Because I need to figure out what the hell I want. I came here because I trust you, and I need someone to talk to. This whole situation is fucking insane, and I feel like I'm losing my mind."

I stepped closer, the air thick with tension. "You're not losing your mind. But you need to decide what you want, Val. Do you want this to be just about the project, or do you want something more?"

She looked up at me, her eyes wide. "I don't know. I really don't know." The vulnerability in her voice sent a wave of protectiveness over me, and I took a step back, trying to process everything.

"Then let's take it slow," I said, my voice softer now. "We don't have to rush into anything. Just figure it out together."

"Together?" she echoed, a hint of hope creeping into her voice.

"Yeah," I nodded. "I don't want you to feel trapped. Just be honest with me about what you want."

"Okay," she replied, her gaze finally meeting mine. There was something electric in the air, an unspoken promise lingering between us. I wanted to reach out, to pull her closer, but I didn't want to push her away.

"So... what now?" Valerie asked, her tone shifting from apprehensive to curious.

"Now we can start by talking about this project," I suggested, trying to keep it light. "You said you needed help with it, right?"

She chuckled, the tension easing a little. "Yeah, I think I could use a hand with that."

"Alright, then," I said, a smile breaking through the uncertainty. "Let's get to work."

As we settled down to go over our project, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning of something intense. With every glance, every shared laugh, I felt us inching closer to a line we both knew was there but hadn't dared to cross yet. But I also knew that whatever was brewing between us wouldn't just disappear. It would simmer beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to explode.

And in that moment, sitting next to her, I felt a flicker of hope that maybe, just maybe, things could work out the way I wanted.

As we finished up our project, the atmosphere in the room shifted. The laughter, the teasing glances, and the way Valerie's smile lit up the room all intensified the tension between us. I could feel it building, the unspoken desire crackling like electricity in the air.
After a while, we pushed the papers aside, and I caught Valerie gazing at me, her expression a mix of uncertainty and longing. "So... what now?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Honestly? I can't stop thinking about that kiss," I admitted, my heart pounding.
"There's something between us, and I don't want to ignore it anymore."
She shifted closer, her breath hitching as she met my gaze. "Neither do I. But what about Julien?"
I reached out, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "You need to figure out what you want, Val. If it's me, then let's not hold back."
She hesitated for a moment, and then leaned in, our lips just inches apart. "I want you, Liam," she breathed. "I really do."
In an instant, the air in the room thickened with urgency. I closed the gap between us, capturing her lips with mine. The kiss was soft at first, tentative, but quickly ignited into something deeper, more passionate. It felt like everything l'd been holding back flooded to the surface.
As we kissed, I felt her hands slide up to my shoulders, pulling me closer. I deepened the kiss, my hands finding their way to her waist, drawing her body against mine.
The warmth of her skin sent a rush of desire through me, and I couldn't get enough.
Valerie pulled back, breathless, and looked up at me with those wide, expressive eyes. "Are you sure about this?"
"More than anything," I replied, my voice husky with longing.
With a spark of determination, I stood up and pulled her to her feet. We moved to the bedroom, the atmosphere thick with anticipation. As soon as we entered, I pressed her against the wall, capturing her mouth again. The kiss deepened, and my hands roamed over her curves, exploring every inch of her.
"Liam," she whispered, pulling back slightly. "This feels so right... but are we really doing this?""Yes," I said, my voice firm. "I want you. Now. No more holding back."
With that, I lifted her, her legs wrapping around my waist as I carried her to the bed. I laid her down gently, taking a moment to drink her in. She looked stunning, her cheeks flushed, her lips swollen from our kisses. I leaned down to capture her mouth again, feeling her hands thread through my hair as she pulled me closer.
Our bodies moved together as the kisses grew more fervent, more desperate. I could feel the heat radiating off her, and every touch made me crave her more. I trailed kisses down her neck, eliciting soft gasps from her lips, and I knew I was completely lost in her.
"Liam, please..." she breathed, her voice filled with urgency.
I looked up at her, my heart racing. "What do you want?"
"Everything," she said, her eyes dark with desire.
With a sense of urgency, I slowly began to undress her, peeling away layers until she ay bare before me. I took my time, savoring every moment, every inch of her skin.
The way her body reacted to my touch fueled the fire inside me.
"God, you're beautiful," I murmured, kissing her collarbone. I leaned back slightly, admiring her. She was everything I had ever wanted, and now she was here, with me.
"Don't just stare," she teased, a playful smile on her lips.
I laughed softly, the tension between us electrifying. "I'm trying to take it all in. I don't want to rush this."
"Then don't," she whispered, pulling me back down to her.
Our lips crashed together again, and I couldn't help but feel everything that had built up between us finally breaking free. The kisses turned into something more primal, more intense, as we explored each other's bodies, losing ourselves in the moment.
As we moved together, everything else faded away-the worries, the complications with Julien, and the uncertainty that had lingered. It was just us, wrapped up in each other, bodies moving in perfect harmony.
"Liam," she gasped, pulling me closer as the intensity grew. I could feel her heart racing beneath my touch, matching the rhythm of our bodies. With each movement, we fell deeper into a world that was entirely our own. There was no past, no future-just this moment, raw and beautiful. I wanted to give her everything, to make her feel cherished and desired.
"Together," I murmured against her lips, and she nodded, her eyes filled with trust.
And in that moment, I knew this was just the beginning. No matter what happened next, we were in this together, and I wasn't going to let her go.
