Ever since y/n was a little girl she couldn't wait to find her soulmate her soulmates name was on her forearm it read 'Miguel Galindo' despite all the people she had come across she never meet the man who's name is on her arm, she slowly over the years watched everyone find their soulmate and she got nothing she never found hers she lost hope. Her mom said "Your grandma who lives in Santo Padre is sick she needs someone to love after her and since you're 19 with no prospects of marriage we said you would go." Your mother says "Thanks for volunteering my time to look after a woman I've meet twice and also thanks for the no prospects of marriage jab really appreciated that." Since she lived so far away you never got to see her. "When do I have to leave and how long am I staying" you said. You looked around at your family they all just looked at you. "What?" You ask tilling you had a little. "She is really sick but we were hoping that maybe you'll meet your soulmate out there since you didn't meet them here." You rolled your eyes. "Is that what this is really about is grandma really sick or is this your guy's terrible attempt at trying to make me find my soulmate I told you I don't want that anymore." "Fine when am I leaving" you said "tomorrow" your mom said. You went up and packed your bags when you get a phone call "Hello" you said into the phone. "Hello is this my granddaughter y/n" your grandma asked. "This is what can I do for you." "Your mother said you are coming to take care of me and she is hoping you will find a soulmate out here what do you want." I'm tired of trying to find my soulmate I really doubt he's out there." "Ok well while you're out here we won't force anything just come to get away from all of them." "Ok I'll see you tomorrow." You hung up after she said goodbye you didn't say I love you because you had only meet twice despite her being your mom's mom. She moved out the state when your grandpa got transferred to the branch out in Santo Padre for his job. When he died she stayed out there despite not having family out there. After y/n finished packing she had three bags because you don't know how long you'll be out there and you tucked yourself into bed because of course your mother had to book a 4 o'clock flight. Your alarm blared at 2 o'clock in the morning you got up and got ready and your mom took you to the airport and off you went to California.
