You were stressed and Miguel could see it between helping coco, planning the wedding and the fact that your mom found out you where pregnant and would call from different numbers to try to talk to you so much Miguel had to get your number changed you where stressed and tired it didn't help that the baby made you extra sleepy as well. When Miguel came home he found you asleep at the dinning room table with a bunch of paper for the wedding spread out all over the table. Miguel picked you up and carried you to bed he was just happy you got a moment of peace in your now chaotic life he laid you down on the bed and pulls your dress over your head being very wary of your prominent baby bump he then slips you into a night gown from your dresser. Miguel then left you to get someone to clean up the mess on the dinning room table. He went back to work after leaving you a note that he stopped home and would be back later he had gotten even more busy these past couple of weeks we all the shit going on over the border with shipments get rerouted and shipments just up and vanishing that's what he was doing now he sat in his chair as the Mayans came up with excuses as to why the shipments were being derailed. "Look I don't care who is to blame bishop all I know is that I left you in charge of it I want an explanation as to why so much goes wrong under your watch are you all complete idiots." Miguel said his anger level rising. "No we're are not idiots we don't know why we get ambushed these people are pros but we will get to the bottom of this I assure you." Bishop said look at Miguel who was now standing face to face with him Miguel smiled and said "Well then it's fucking good they were pros because you would look extra stupid if they were amateur." Miguel walked back to his desk to look at him phone to make sure you didn't try to call or message him when he saw there was nothing he looked back up. "You have 24 hours to present the men that keep ripping off my shipment or I pick one of your guys to blame." Miguel said. "What do you mean." Bishop said. "I mean if I don't have a guy here to ask about how he knows when and where and from whom confidential shipments are coming from that isn't one of your guys I'm going to assume you have a snitch amongst you and I'll find out who." Miguel said looking at the whole group he makes eye contact with coco and keeps looking at all of them. Miguel was through talking and the Mayans left he knew he would have an answer before the 24 hours were over but he had a meeting with a man about a land development deal. You woke up to Cristobal crying out for you before you could move you heard a knock on the door. "Come in." You said loud enough for Miria to hear you she came in "is it ok if I give you Cristobal he's eaten and been changed he just needs his nap then he'll be good." Miria said. "Yes of course bring me my baby please." You said. "Oh and ma'am there is someone trying to get past the guards they need to know what to do." She said as she headed right back towards the door of your bedroom. "Who is it." You ask rocking an almost asleep Cristobal in your arms. "It's your mother." Miria said. "I'm not dealing with her will you have the guards turn her away." You don't know why she was here you and Miguel made it clear that you wanted nothing to do with them. You and Cristobal fell back to sleep for an hour because that's all he could sleep for or he won't sleep at all. You got up leaving Cristobal sat up on the bed playing with toys while you change from you night gown to shorts and a t shirt once your done you scoop up Cristobal and take him out with you to the living room you set him in his bouncer. One of the guards step in the door "ma'am the situation outside has been handled anything else." he said. "Yes next time she comes to the gate automatically turn her away she's not welcome." You said a little mad you were wondering why she was here you didn't want to speak to her or be near her. You rubbed your belly and close your eyes and start to do your breathing every time you got worked up you had flash backs to the shooting you started to crying that's when the door open and shut you look up and through water eyes you see Miguel. "What's wrong mi amor." He said crouching down to you in front of the couch. "I'm so stressed between the planning the wedding, coco not that I mind helping him and my mom blowing up my phone you know she came to the house today I don't know what she wants but she just won't stop and the baby is making me extra tired which make me sleep more and spend less time with Cristobal which also makes me feel bad and then I also stress about you ever time you walk out the front door." You said through tears rocking your self he stood up and sat on the couch next to you pulling you into his lap he stroked your hair "I know amor why don't we let mom worry about the wedding for now and tell coco you need a break and Cristobal is fine he loves you so much as a matter of fact I think he love you the most and think thing with your mom will never happen again if I have anything to do with it and I'll call you more often when I'm gone so you don't worry much I love you." He said while rubbing his hand up and down your arm while his other hand held your hand. "I still want to help coco and please do call me more often I love you so much thank you for saying those things about Cristobal I worry since I'm not his real mom that he" that's when Miguel cut you off. "You're not his real mom who said that to you because I'll kill them you are his real mom especially since Emily is dead but even if she was alive you're his real mother she didn't love him like you do." Miguel said you could tell he was pissed off. "It was my mom she said that I wasn't his real mom." You said through tears. "I'm going to kill her." He said he sat with you till you calmed down he rubbed your baby bump and whispered sweet things to you. Once you calmed down he asked you "how do you want to handle your mom." He asked "I don't care I know she wants money but we are not giving any." You said wiping your eyes his hand was now resting on your bump and the baby started to kick where Miguel's hand was you put your hands on top of his. "Did you feel that daddy." You ask. "Oh my God yes Emily wouldn't let me touch her during her pregnancy so I missed things like this with Cristobal." He said you could see the big smile on his face that's when Cristobal started to make noise. "I'll get him I want to see if she'll kick for him." Miguel said now really excited. He picked you up and put you on the seat next to where you were seated on his lap. He picked Cristobal up and brought him over and handed him to you then he picked you both up and put you back on his lap he pick up Cristobal's hand and put it on your bell and then put his on top of Cristobal the baby started to kick their hand Miguel gasped and you all just sat there like that for a moment then your phone started to ring in your pocket you pulled it out it was coco you picked it up and listened he wanted to meet you. You look at Miguel and ask "Can coco come here or do I need to meet him somewhere." You ask "why don't you take Cristobal and go out and meet him somewhere I'am going to handle this thing with your mom then I'll meet you out and we can have dinner together as a family." He said "oh we can start to plan Cristobal birthday then." You said with a smile you didn't talk about him handle your mom because you knew however he handled it you would be ok with. "What ever you want mi amor you know that." He said with a smile he took Cristobal from you. "You go change I'll get Cristobal changed and I'll tell Maria and Nestor and another guards to be ready I would send more but I know you don't want that." Although he didn't like coco or your relationship with coco he knew he would keep you safe. You stood up and went to change once you got to your room you changed into your one of your favorite dress sandals and put your hair up in a half up half down style and add a bow to the back where it was up you got up and walk to Cristobal's room you stood in the door way watching Miguel. "Alright little man let's get these pants on you." Miguel said talking to Cristobal in a sweet voice. Watching Miguel interact with Cristobal was your favorite thing to watch he continued to talk to him while Cristobal just smiled and made noises with his mouth. "Alright little man make sure you're good for mama." He said while putting his shoes on your not sure if Miguel has spotted you yet but he hasn't said anything. "Now you're going to meet with mamas friend I'll be there later then we can eat don't tell mama but I'm going to sneak you a new food shhh." Miguel said as he picked up Cristobal and held him to his chest Cristobal wrapped his hand around Miguel's thumb Miguel's back was to you but he turned around to see you standing in the door way. "How long have you been standing there." Miguel said with a big smile on his face. "Long enough to hear your plans to feed our son something he probably shouldn't be eating." You giggled. "My son is a growing boy he needs all the nutrition he going to get if he's going to be big and strong like his papa." He said playing with Cristobal. The smile never left your face but you raise your eye brows. "Your son." You say walking further into the room and up to Miguel. "Yes only because he's going to be big and strong and handsome like his papa, when it comes to being kind and funny and smart and empathetic then he's your son." Miguel said the smile still bright on his face. "Ok I see." You say and kiss them both, Cristobal on the forehead and Miguel on the lips it lasted until you both had to come up for air. That when your gran walked in the room you hadn't crossed paths with her in a couple of days because now that she has a drive she spent most of her time out. "Oh there you guys are feels like I haven't seen you in days." Your gran said. "I know you have been so busy lately that we have barely seen you." You say as Miguel wraps his arm around you. "I know now that I have a ride I can go out more with my friends now since I know you don't want them to come here." Your gran said. Miguel wants to limit people coming to the house or really being near you at all even if it limits your friend pool to a whopping one friend which is coco. "Ok well Ive got to go I have to meet coco he should be there by now I don't want to keep him waiting." You kisses Miguel and take Cristobal and hug your gran and walk out the door Miria loaded Cristobal in to the car she had his diaper bag then you all got in and meet coco at a café. "Hi sweetheart." Coco said and hugged you when you met him at the table. He pulls your chair out and you sit down. "How have you been feeling." Normally coco was rough around the edges and really did care but with you he would rewrite the stars but before you could answer the waitress came over and took your order. Coco spoke. I'll have a coffee black and she'll have a frozen hot chocolate." She wrote it down then walked away. Anyway i've been stressed out I'm juggling a lot but other than that I've been great how about you." You ask him. "I'm not good I found out my soulmate died in a car accident years ago and the only other woman I'm interested in is married to a man I don't like and now I'm in a downward spiral and I'm afraid I'll only ever be alone. "Oh coco I'm so sorry but if she die years ago her name on you should have blacked out where is your." You said. "It's on my chest." He said as he lifted his shirt to reveal his toned chest there it was it's so dark now you couldn't even see her name he dropped his shirt back down. "If it's been years you should have known she died when the tattoo started to fade." You informed him. "I didn't know what that meant that I just thought it meant she didn't love me anymore." Coco said he looked out the window next to you and people watch for a moment because he knew if he looked at you he might cry and it would be a cold day in hell before he let that happen out in public. You took his hand on the table and hold it. "Don't please mama it will make me want you even more." He said and pulled his hand away slowly that's when the waitress brought your drinks over. The baby started to kick. "Oh." You said. Coco looked at you concerned. "The baby kicked do you want to feel." You asked. He hesitated for a moment. "Can I." You nod and he brings his chair around the table your extremely close now a you pulled his hand to your stomach where the baby is kicking you sat there like that for a moment then before you can even register what was happening he was kissing you then you feel him ripped away from you. You stood up with a frown that's when you realized Miguel was here and he was the one who jerked him away. "Coco we talked about this you can't do that you're my friend but I love Miguel and only Miguel." You tell coco Miguel still has a hold of him. "I love you and now that my soulmate is dead I only want you please." Coco said. "We are not doing this again you can't have her she's mine don't ever talk to her or reach out to her as a matter of fact if you ever see her out in public go in the opposite direction because if I ever get word you have gone near her again I'll kill you." Miguel says pushing him away from both of you towards Nestor who throws him out of the door. "You are to not go near him again." Miguel says furious you look around and see everyone staring at you. "Let's not do this here." You said to him. "You're right." He says and takes your arm and pulls you out the door the car ride was silent he made everyone but you, Nestor, him and Cristobal ride in the other car. When you got home everybody disappeared you turn to Miguel he repeated what he said before. "You are to not go near him again." Miguel said his anger bubbling over now. "Miguel he means no harm he just found out his soulmate is dead." You said. "I don't care what happened with his soulmate you are mine not some greasy criminal bikers." He said point at the ground. "Criminal really because everything you do is legal." You said throwing right back at him. "I don't care if what you do is illegal but you can't act like you're better than him in that regard." You say standing up for coco." "Do you know what he does y/n." It was the first time in a long time he had called you by your name and not a pet name you knew then just how mad he was. "Yes I do I know he ran drugs over the border for you like I said I don't care about that." You said. "He's a meth head and has been in and out of jail he's a low life and I forbid you to go near him again." Miguel his voice rising even more you knew the whole house could hear you now but no one would dare interrupt. "Oh you forbid me the only difference between your criminal enterprise and his is that your cost more and your the head of your there is no difference criminal shit is criminal shit." You say back to him louder than before. "You're right but you can't leave me for him I won't survive." He said. This time in a lower tone. "I can't keep fighting about the same thing I'm not going to be with him I'll never be with him because I love you and I can't survive without you to but I need space." You said taking a step back. "What do you mean." Miguel said trying to step closer to you but you took another step back. "I'm going to sleep in the guest room I just need time." You kiss him on the cheek and walk away.
