After you where discharged from the hospital Miguel took you to his home telling you your grandmother was already there she had been staying there so his mom could take care of her but now that she was all better she was ready to go home. Your grandmother greeted you at the door "oh there my strong granddaughter." She says as you lean down to hug her you hiss at the pain she kisses your check and frown. "Are you ok." Her and Miguel asked in unison as Miguel pulls you to lay on the plush couch yeah I'm fine just bent the wrong way and the pain meds from the hospital are wearing off." Miguel took the bag Nestor was carrying and got the pill out as Nestor moved to get you some water once you had taken them Miguel got you comfortable on the couch and covered you up. "Are you going to be ok if I leave you with my mom and Diego while I go handle that business I mentioned earlier." Who's Diego." You ask and an older Mexican man stood in front of him as Miguel sat on the couch by your stomach. He stuck out his hand to shake and you took it. "Yes I'll be fine go do what you have to just come back to me." Miguel kissed your head and stood up. "Your grandmother would like to go home and since she's not sick I can take her home I already have some there to take care of her." Ok could you grab some of my stuff when you're there." Miguel look between his mom and Nestor "actually all your stuff is already here I had it brought here after the incident because I want you to be here with me as you recover and I was moving you in anyway." "Ok that's fine but can I get my phone." Miguel hands you the latest iPhone. "This isn't mine." Yes it is you have been added to my plan because after the fight she destroyed your phone I'm guessing so you couldn't call 911 if you came to." Miguel said. You got the phone sighed in to your account and your phone recovered all the data from your last phone through the cloud. Miguel kisses you one last time and says he has to go he took Nestor with him and he said someone would take your grandmother home when she was ready "Now that you have a phone I would call your mom I try to explain what happened but she wants to talk to you." Your grandmother said you sigh and dial your mom's number signing as it rang. "Oh my God you're alive." You roll your eyes. "Yes mom I'm alive what's up." Well after you got shot twice your grandmother explained everything congratulations on finally meeting your soulmate we didn't think that would ever happen." You had been shot twice and instead of asking how you are feeling all she can talk about is how you found your soulmate she talk for the next 20 minutes about what is happening in there life's, when she asked you a question that has you stunned "when can we come to visit." She asked you rub your temple. "I don't know mom I'll have to talk to Miguel." I mean you are over there one day and your shot by his ex wife on his watch it's the least he can do after almost getting you killed. You roll your eyes again "mom it's not his fault but I'll talk to him ok but I have to go." You hung up before she could say anything else to piss you off. That's when you realize your grandma was taken home and it was just you in the living room so you closed your eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Miguel's p.o.v
He had Emily strapped to the pew she had been beaten badly so bad that she couldn't be recognized. "How dare you touch what's mine." Miguel said as he hit her again she couldn't deny it they played her the video so she just apologized and begged for forgiveness. "It's not me you have to ask it's her if she forgive you you get to live if she doesn't you die." Miguel told Nestor to video call your phone because he was covered in blood but he wiped his hands but was still bloody all over. You pick up on the second ring and your face comes on the screen and Nestor hands the phone to Miguel and you see he's covered in blood. "Oh my god are you ok." You asked scared for him. "Yes mi amor none of this blood is mine but I'm calling because someone wants to talk to you." Miguel flipped the camera around and you saw her. "Is that Emily." "Yes she wants to apologize and ask for your forgiveness." Emily looks up at the camera with her bloody tear stand face and says she sorry and begs for forgiveness. "I accept your apology." You said. "Ok mi amor that all I needed I'll be home soon." He hung up the phone and handed it back to Nestor. "Cut her loose then have one of the other guys drop her at the hospital we're done here." Nestor did as he was told a cut her loose the one of the other men took her to the hospital. When Miguel got home he was still covered in blood and you where a sleep on the couch so he went upstairs and took a shower and changed when he came back down you were standing in the kitchen getting a drink when Miguel walk up and wrapped his arms around you you lean into him and he asked why are you up. "I needed a drink." You said "you are not supposed to be up you're still recovering someone can get stuff like this for you." He carried you up into y'all's bed room and laid you down in your guys bed he covered you up. Ok what do you want for dinner I'll have the chef make what ever you want." "Um surprise me." Miguel went to the kitchen and told the chef to make your favorite which was spaghetti with garlic bread he knew it from the first night you meet you had spent hours getting to know each other. "It's my mom she wants to visit but I don't want her to but she won't leave it alone." You say looking at him "Yes she's still alive barely but yes." Miguel feared what was going to happen next. He walked around to his side of the bed and sat on top of the comforter. He gets down stairs and into his office "ok let's get this over with I want to get back to my wife and our son." "What?" he said into the phone line. "Emily's in a coma I thought you would want to know." EZ said "I don't care about that she lucky to be alive." Miguel said "What is that supposed to mean." EZ said with anger "It means she showed up at my wife's house and got into a fight with here then shot her twice she almost died so when I say I don't care thats what I mean." Miguel said annoyed he had to waste his time on this. "What the fuck she got swelling of her brain they had to cut off a piece of her scull all her ribs are broken she got a collapsed lung and two broken arm and a broken leg a cracked jaw she's your wife." "Let's be real she hasn't been my wife in a while I know she was cheating on me with you." Miguel said adding anger to the annoyance "Did you do this to her." EZ asked "No my wife in recovery after what that psycho did to her I haven't left her side all day." Miguel lied. "Speaking of which she's waiting for me." Miguel hung up before EZ could say anything else.

You were almost asleep with Cristobal when your phone starts to ring you reach for it it's your mom "What it's late." You say into the phone "Did you ask if we could visit." She asked. "Yes mom this couldn't have waited till tomorrow I'm almost asleep with my son." You say. "Oh my good I have another grand-baby boy or girl." "Boy and he said yes we can finish this talk tomorrow." That's when Miguel comes back into the room and gets in bed beside you. "Ok mom I have go I'm tired I'll call you tomorrow to iron out the details bye." Miguel pulled you both to him and kissed you both you all fall asleep.
