The next morning, as Jin was getting ready for work, he noticed the redness and swelling on his cheek, along with the cut at the corner of his mouth. Realizing he couldn't go to work looking like that, he decided to sneak into Jisoo's room. He quietly took her makeup and carefully applied it, hoping to cover up the marks.

As Jin carefully applied the makeup, he tried to mask the pain along with the bruises. He didn't want anyone at work to ask questions or suspect anything was wrong. After finishing, he examined himself in the mirror, ensuring that the marks were no longer visible. Satisfied with the result, he took a deep breath, trying to steady his emotions before heading out.

Jin, as usual, arrived early at the hotel, quickly changing into his uniform before starting his work. A little later, the other staff members arrived and congratulated him for representing the hotel so well in Switzerland. Jin smiled faintly and thanked everyone. Just then, he was summoned to the Chairwoman's office, and he made his way there.

Chairwoman Mrs. Kim looked at Jin and smiled kindly. "Jin, I wanted to personally thank you for your outstanding work in Switzerland. You represented our hotel with great professionalism," she said warmly.

Namjoon nodded in agreement, adding, "You've exceeded our expectations, Jin. We're proud to have you on our team."

Jungkook, who had been watching Jin closely, noticed the slight redness on Jin's cheek and the faint bruise near the corner of his lip. His expression shifted, concern flickering in his eyes, but he remained silent, observing Jin's every move.

Jin, still keeping his head lowered, replied softly, "Thank you, Chairwoman. I'm just doing my best."

Mrs. Kim, sensing Jin's humility, smiled gently. "You've done more than your best, Jin. That's why we've decided to give you a bonus for your hard work," she announced, sliding an envelope across the table towards him.

Jin's eyes widened in surprise as he slowly lifted his head to meet her gaze. "Thank you so much, Chairwoman," he said, his voice filled with genuine gratitude.

As Jin reached for the envelope, Jungkook's gaze remained fixed on him, his concern growing. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, but he didn't want to draw attention to it in front of everyone. Instead, he gave Jin a slight nod, silently acknowledging his efforts.

Namjoon then spoke up, "You deserve it, Jin. Keep up the good work."

Jin, now slightly more at ease, nodded and offered a small smile before bowing respectfully. "I will. Thank you, all of you," he said, before turning to leave the office.

Jin, trying to keep a low profile, decided to take the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. He moved quietly, hoping to avoid any more encounters that day. But as he descended the staircase, his mind still clouded by the earlier events, Jungkook suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Jin froze in his tracks, startled by Jungkook's sudden presence. Before he could react, Jungkook grabbed his hand firmly, his expression unreadable. Without saying a word, Jungkook began pulling Jin along, leading him toward a nearby empty room on the same floor. Jin's heart pounded as he realized they were avoiding being seen by anyone else.

Once inside, Jungkook closed the door behind them, locking it with a soft click. The tension in the room was palpable, the silence thick as Jin wondered what Jungkook was about to say or do.

As Jungkook slowly advanced toward Jin, he wrapped his arms around him and kissed him passionately.

The intensity of the kiss made Jin wince in pain, causing the injury on his lip to reopen and bleed. The taste of blood made Jungkook pause, and he noticed the blood trickling from Jin's lips. A surge of anger boiled within him as he gently cupped Jin's cheeks, causing Jin to flinch from the pain. It was then that Jungkook understood what had happened, knowing full well that Jin's uncle was the one who had hurt him-something Jungkook's spies had already reported to him.
