Jin’s heart raced as Jungkook approached. Taehyung, still holding Jin’s hand, tightened his grip, stepping in front of him protectively. Jungkook's eyes flickered between Taehyung and Jin, confusion and anger evident on his face.
"What’s going on?" Jungkook demanded, his gaze locked on Jin, waiting for an answer.
Before Jin could speak, Taehyung stepped forward. "We’re leaving, Jungkook. Jin’s coming with me."
Jungkook’s expression hardened. "Why are you doing this? Jin, you don’t have to go."
Jin, overwhelmed by everything, stood silent, unsure of what to say or do.
Jungkook stepped closer, desperation evident in his eyes as he locked his gaze on Jin. His voice wavered with raw emotion. "Please, Jin, tell me what's going on. Why are you leaving with him?"
Jin’s heart clenched painfully. He felt utterly trapped, torn between the love he still felt for Jungkook and the cold reality of the contract he'd just signed. Before Jin could muster a response, Taehyung stepped in, his voice firm yet almost possessive. "Jin has made his decision."
Jungkook shook his head, refusing to believe it. "No, that’s not possible. He wouldn’t do this. Jin, look at me. Whatever it is, tell me, and I’ll fix everything. You don’t need to be afraid. I’m here... I’ll take care of you and our baby."
Just then, Taehyung opened the car door. "Get in, Jin. We’re running late."
Without looking back at Jungkook, Jin got into the car, his body stiff with guilt and reluctance. The silence was deafening as Jungkook's heart shattered further with every passing second.
"Jin... you can’t do this to me, to our child. You can’t just leave me," Jungkook's voice broke, his anguish palpable.
Taehyung, now sitting in the driver's seat, looked at Jungkook one last time. "Kookie, if you have questions, come to the Kim Mansion."
With those final words, Taehyung started the car and drove off, leaving Jungkook standing there, frozen in place, watching helplessly as his world slipped away.
“Jin...” Jungkook whispered, his voice barely audible, as he stood alone in the fading distance, realizing everything had changed.
Jungkook, barely holding himself together, rushed to his car and immediately followed behind, determined. "Hyung, I won't let you take Jin away like this. Even if I have to face you, I will." His voice was resolute, his heart pounding as he drove toward the Kim Mansion.
Meanwhile, Taehyung and Jin arrived at the mansion. Taehyung got out of the car, walking over to Jin’s side. He yanked the door open and grabbed Jin’s hand tightly, pulling him out forcefully.
Jin struggled to free himself. "You can’t do this to me. Let me go!" he protested.
With a smirk, Taehyung’s voice was calm yet mocking. "You should get used to being with me—day, night, every moment—for the next year."
Jin looked at Taehyung in disbelief. "It’s a contract marriage, not a real one. You can't force me like this!"
Taehyung leaned closer, his tone darkening. "Force? You haven't seen anything yet," he said as he stepped even nearer to Jin, their closeness suffocating.
At that moment, Jungkook’s car appeared at the gate. Taehyung noticed it and smirked, pulling Jin even harder as he dragged him inside the mansion.
Jin’s heart sank; the weight of the situation made him feel worse with every step they took. Facing everyone in this condition felt unbearable.
