Jin, startled, pulls back slightly, his lips trembling as he stammers, "W-what... what are you saying?"
Taehyung holds Jin's neck in a slow, intimate gesture, his gaze intense. "Exactly what you're pretending not to understand."
Jin looks away, flustered. "How can you say that? We... we're only bound by this contract-"
Before Jin can finish, Taehyung leans in and captures his lips in a deep, passionate kiss, silencing him. Jin is stunned, unable to move as Taehyung's kiss takes over, his lips trailing down from Jin's lips to his neck, then towards his collarbone. Slowly, Jin finds himself melting into the moment, reciprocating the kiss as they both become lost in each other.
Suddenly, Jin's hand mistakenly presses on Taehyung's injured shoulder, causing Taehyung to flinch in pain and break away, holding his shoulder tightly.
Jin, visibly flustered, stammers as he reaches out to apologize, his eyes wide with worry. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you. I would never want to cause you pain." His voice is soft, almost trembling with the weight of his words.
Taehyung, hearing Jin's gentle apology, takes a steadying breath, his gaze unwavering. He looks up at Jin with an intensity that makes Jin's heart skip a beat. "If I hadn't been hurt... do you think we would have gone further?" Taehyung's words are quiet but heavy with meaning, each syllable hanging in the air.
Overwhelmed, Jin quickly gets up from the bed, trying to put some distance between them. "I... I'll go call the doctor," he mumbles, his voice betraying his nervousness as he takes a step toward the door.
But Taehyung's hand catches his, gripping firmly yet gently, stopping him in his tracks. His voice, low and steady, breaks the silence. "No, you can't just walk away," he whispers, the passion in his eyes uncontained. "Not without calming the storm you've stirred inside me. For this... for this feeling, I'd endure any pain."
Jin stands frozen, heart pounding, unable to break free from the intensity of Taehyung's gaze. The air between them feels electric.
Jin's breath catches as Taehyung closes the distance between them, each step deliberate, eyes dark and filled with a fire that sends shivers through Jin's spine. He tries to steady himself, whispering, "You're losing yourself."
Taehyung's lips curve into a faint, inviting smile. "Then Come, lose yourself with me, Jin, Just this once." he murmurs, his voice husky, barely a whisper, yet filled with undeniable longing.
A soft gasp escapes Jin as Taehyung's fingers trace up his arm, sending sparks through his skin. Jin's gaze falters, his walls crumbling, the last remnants of his resistance slipping away. "We're bound by a contract, " he stammers, trying to hold onto a thread of logic.
Taehyung gently cups Jin's face, his thumb brushing against his cheek, eyes deep and unwavering. "For you, I'd break every contract," he breathes, pulling Jin closer, until their faces are mere inches apart.
Taehyung's words pierce through Jin's defenses, unraveling his last bit of restraint. "You're drawing me in," Jin admits, his voice soft, laced with a quiet surrender.
"Then give in," Taehyung whispers, his voice low and full of promise, his eyes filled with a fire that sends a termor through Jin. "Let's make this one beautiful mistake."
A moment of hesitation, and then Taehyung closes the gap, pressing his lips to Jin's in a kiss that's both tender and consuming, filled with hunger neither can deny. Jin's pulse races, drowning in the warmth, in the overwhelming feeling he's been holding back for so long.
As Taehyung deepens the kiss, his hands glide to Jin's waist, holding him as if he were something precious, something to be cherished and protected. And in that intense, stolen moment, Jin surrenders, lost in a passion that consumes them both casting aside every rule, every boundary, and losing themselves in each other.
The evening gathered everyone in the living room, with Taehyung and Namjoon engrossed in a conversation about work. Jungkook joined them, discussing work-related matters with a focused intensity.
Jin entered quietly, taking a seat beside Grandma, where he began engaging her in a lighthearted conversation.
Just then, Taehyung's gaze drifted across the room, landing on Jin. Memories from their intimate afternoon surfaced, and despite himself, Taehyung couldn't help but smile, a trace of warmth brightening his eyes. Sensing the attention, Jin glanced up and realized Taehyung was watching him. Embarrassed, he lowered his gaze, a soft, shy smile spreading across his lips.
Jungkook's eyes shifted between them, sensing the subtle connection, the unspoken exchange between Taehyung and Jin. It puzzled him-there was something different in the way they looked at each other, an unfamiliar warmth that left him questioning what had passed between them.
Mrs. Kim approached with a warm smile, saying, "Work can wait. I've had some snacks prepared. Let's all go by the poolside."
Everyone moved to the poolside, where a cozy setup awaited. Jin found himself seated between Grandma and Mrs. Kim, who were both animatedly sharing tips and stories about pregnancy, their voices gentle yet filled with excitement. Taehyung, seated across from Jin, couldn't resist stealing glances at him, his eyes playful. In subtle, teasing gestures, Taehyung began signaling to Jin-little winks, light-hearted expressions, and a mischievous look that only grew more daring. He playfully mimed a kiss with his lips and hinted for Jin to meet him upstairs, the warmth in his gaze unmistakable.
Jin's cheeks flushed a deep shade of red as he shyly avoided Taehyung's gaze, though he couldn't hide the smile tugging at his lips. Taehyung, caught in a teasing mood, kept up his silent flirting, sending Jin into a mix of embarrassment and amusement.
Jungkook, quietly watching from nearby, was mid-conversation with Namjoon when he noticed Taehyung's intense focus on Jin. His expression darkened, realization hitting him hard-there was an undeniable closeness between Taehyung and Jin, a warmth he couldn't ignore. Jungkook's jaw tightened, his gaze narrowing as he looked at Jin's blushing face, each shade of red on Jin's cheeks fueling the jealousy stirring within him.
Jungkook's anger was surging, almost spilling over as he clenched his fists, desperately holding himself back. Every fiber of his being screamed to confront Jin, to vent this frustration that was eating him up. All he wanted was to lash out, to let Jin know exactly how he felt seeing him slip away, not towards him, but to someone else.
As Taehyung got up, he caught Jin's gaze and gave a subtle nod, signaling him to follow. Passing by Jin, he spoke casually, keeping up the appearance for everyone around them, "Jin, can you get my warm clothes out?"
Without hesitation, Taehyung headed to his room, leaving Jin with the unmistakable understanding of why he'd been called. Just then, Grandma turned to Jin with a soft smile. "Jin, go help Tae with his warm clothes and help him get comfortable. He must be feeling cold," she suggested kindly.
"Yes..." Jin replied softly, barely able to meet Jungkook's gaze as he got up, feeling the weight of it on him. But he steeled himself and walked away.
Jungkook's jealousy flared as he watched Jin leave. The possessiveness he felt was tearing him apart. The idea of Jin choosing to be with someone else-willingly walking toward Taehyung-was unbearable. His anger and jealousy had reached a breaking point, and every step Jin took further away felt like a stab in Jungkook's heart, deepening his pain, his fury, and his helplessness.
Jungkook's thoughts twisted with resentment and fury as he glared in the direction Jin had walked. "I thought you had sympathy for Hyung... but," he muttered under his breath, seething. "With that smile, you're moving towards Taehyung willingly. Just wait, Min Jin. Be prepared to face the consequences."
A dark, unrestrained anger bubbled within him, his obsession growing into something even he couldn't control. "You haven't yet seen the real extent of my anger... my obsession," he whispered, his voice thick with bitterness. "I'm not this crazed for you without reason, Jin. You'll see, just watch."
Consumed by his own possessive fury, Jungkook sat silently, his gaze hardening, his mind racing as he began to plot his next move, unable to bear the thought of Jin belonging to anyone but him.
