Jin's heart raced as Taehyung smiled gently, the tension in the air shifting slightly. Taehyung must have noticed his unease because, with a soft chuckle, he took a small step back, creating just enough space for Jin to breathe again. Jin let out a quiet sigh of relief, though his pulse still thudded in his ears.

Taehyung then extended a hand, holding out a paper bag. "I brought something for you to eat," he said, his voice calm and warm. Jin blinked, his gaze flickering to the bag, realizing it was filled with the comforting scent of hot food.

"Come on," Taehyung continued with a smile, "let's have dinner together."

Jin hesitated, still trying to process everything that had just happened. His mind was a whirlwind of emotions, but Taehyung's thoughtful gesture touched him. Just as he was about to nod, Taehyung added, "Call Jisoo too. Let's all eat together."

The mention of Jisoo made Jin's heart sink. He bit his lip, his eyes dropping to the floor. "Jisoo... she's not here," he murmured, the pain of her departure still fresh.

Taehyung's smile faded slightly, sensing the shift in Jin's mood. He stepped closer again, though this time the intensity from earlier was replaced by a quiet concern.

"She left?" Taehyung asked gently, his voice laced with empathy.

Jin nodded, swallowing hard as the memories of Jisoo leaving with Min-kyu resurfaced. "She... she didn't even look back," Jin whispered, his voice cracking under the weight of the emotions he had been holding in all night. "I tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen."

Taehyung set the paper bag down on the table, his eyes never leaving Jin's face. Slowly, he reached out, resting a hand on Jin's shoulder. The warmth of his touch seeped through Jin's cold skin, grounding him in the moment.

"You don't have to go through this alone," Taehyung said quietly. "I'm here."

Jin's throat tightened, the words hitting him deeply. He had been carrying so much for so long-his struggles with Jungkook, His mother loss, and now the heartache of Jisoo leaving. It felt like too much to bear, but Taehyung's steady presence provided a small sense of relief, like a lifeline in the storm.

For a moment, they stood in silence, the weight of everything hanging between them. Then, Taehyung squeezed Jin's shoulder gently. "Let's eat," he said softly. "You need to take care of yourself, Jin."

Jin hesitated, but finally nodded. He allowed Taehyung to lead him to the table, where the warm food awaited. The pain of Jisoo's absence was still there, but for now, Jin was grateful that offering a quiet strength that he desperately needed.

After a while, they finished dinner together, and Jin busied himself washing the dishes. As he reached up to place them in the upper cupboard, he suddenly became aware of Taehyung standing close behind him. A wave of nervousness washed over him, his heart racing. He hesitated to turn around, afraid of what he might see in Taehyung's eyes.

For Jin, Taehyung was nothing more than a respectful boss and a well-wisher, someone he looked up to but didn't have deeper feelings for. He valued the support Taehyung had given him, especially after everything that had happened, but he couldn't see him in any other way.

However, Taehyung's feelings for Jin ran much deeper. His affection had grown over time, and now, standing so close, he couldn't help but feel the strong emotions he had for Jin.

Taehyung slowly moved closer to Jin, stepping beside him as he continued washing the dishes. Before Jin could react, Taehyung gently took hold of his hand. A surge of panic courses through Jin, and he instinctively tried to pull away, but Taehyung's grip was firm yet filled with warmth.
