Jin woke up early, his sleep interrupted, and looked around the room. Taehyung was nowhere to be seen. Feeling restless, Jin got out of bed and searched for Taehyung, but he couldn't find him. Craving some tea, Jin decided to leave the room. The mansion was quiet, with everyone else still asleep. As he walked quietly through the halls, searching for the kitchen, he noticed a transparent glass door leading to the office. Through it, he saw Taehyung sleeping on the sofa.

Jin tried to ignore him and walk away, but when he realized it was cold outside and Taehyung was sleeping without any blanket, he changed his mind. Returning to the bedroom, Jin grabbed a pillow and a blanket.

Gently, Jin lifted Taehyung's head to place the pillow beneath it and carefully draped the blanket over him. Just as he was about to leave, Taehyung grabbed Jin's wrist, startling him.

Jin froze, his heart racing as Taehyung held his wrist. He looked down, unsure of what to say or do. Taehyung, still half-asleep, murmured something softly, but his grip on Jin's wrist tightened slightly, as if he didn't want him to leave.

Jin stood there, feeling conflicted, uncertain of whether to pull away or stay.

Jin quietly slips his hand out of Taehyung's grip and leaves the room.

As soon as Jin leaves, Taehyung opens his eyes and starts thinking about their complicated relationship. He loves Jin deeply, and his heart is filled with nothing but pure love for him.

A while later, Jin gets ready and knocks on Mrs. Kim's door. Mrs. Kim opens the door and asks, "Jin, so early in the morning. What happened?"

Jin, hesitating, replies, "Mrs. Kim, if you don't mind, could I go visit my aunt today?"

Smiling warmly, Mrs. Kim says, "Of course, why not? Tae will drop you off on his way to the hotel."

Jin simply nods and smiles faintly, not saying much.

Mrs. Kim adds, "If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. You're now Tae's Omega, the son-in-law of this house. So try to settle in and become part of the family."

"Yes, Mrs. Kim."

Jin then goes back to his room and starts getting ready.

A little later, Taehyung enters the room without looking at Jin and heads straight to the bathroom to shower.

Jin sits quietly in the room, browsing job vacancies on his phone.

After some time, Taehyung comes out of the shower, with only a towel wrapped around him, his hair still wet. Jin's eyes unintentionally fall on him, and he finds himself staring for a moment. But when Taehyung looks back at him, Jin quickly averts his gaze. Taehyung silently goes into the dressing room to get dressed.

Just then, Taehyung's phone rings-it's his PA, Lucy. The phone is on the side table near Jin, charging. Jin glances at the phone screen and notices that the wallpaper is a picture of himself.

Jin is surprised to see his photo as Taehyung's phone wallpaper. He feels a mix of emotions but chooses not to dwell on it.

Taehyung comes out fully dressed and quickly grabs his phone, ignoring Jin. Without saying a word, he prepares to leave. Jin watches silently, still processing everything, but remains focused on his own thoughts about visiting his aunt.

As they both step out of the room, the air between them remains tense and unspoken, with each absorbed in their own emotions.

Everyone was seated at the dining table for breakfast, with Jin eating slowly and quietly. Suddenly, Jungkook rushed out of his room, heading to work without touching his breakfast. Jimin followed him, trying to stop him and urging him to eat something, but Jungkook ignored him and continued walking out.

Mr. Kim, visibly angry at Jungkook's behavior, spoke up sternly, "Kookie, this is happening too often. This isn't a hotel, it's a home. Such behavior won't be tolerated here."

Jungkook smirked and replied, "If you all enjoy putting up this facade, go ahead. I'm not interested in these things anymore. I've played along with this act long enough, but I can't do it anymore."

Grandma, shocked by his response, interjected, "Kookie, is this how you speak to your father?"

Jungkook retorted, "Grandma, even you're blaming me? You haven't said a word to Hyung, despite what he's done. Can't you see how Hyung has taken Jin away from me?"

Mr. Kim, now losing his patience, ended the conversation with finality, "Enough. This discussion is over. What's done is done. Now, it's time for you to learn how to live with your Omega and try to move forward."

Jungkook, Mr. Kim's words still lingering in the air, stormed out of the house without another word. Jimin, hurt and frustrated, stood silently watching him go.

As Taehyung gets up to leave, Mrs. Kim calls out to him.

"Tae, drop Jin at his aunt's and pick him up on your way back from the hotel."

Taehyung nods. "Hmmm... Okay, Mom."

Mrs. Kim turns to Jin, "Hurry up; he's waiting for you."

Jin quickly grabs his sweater and follows Taehyung out. Jimin, watching them, feels a surge of frustration. "Here he is, tearing apart my and Kookie's life, and now he's off to visit his aunt," Jimin thinks angrily.

Taehyung settles into the car, and Jin quietly joins him. The driver starts the car as Taehyung looks over some work on his phone, while Jin stares out of the window, lost in thought.

Breaking the silence, Taehyung says, "If you want to work again, you can tell me. You can rejoin CROWN anytime."

Jin is taken aback. How does he know I'm looking for a job? he wonders.

Hesitantly, Jin says, "I... I just..."

Taehyung, without looking away from his phone, responds, "The job agency where you submitted your resume is owned by our company. I don't mind if you work again."

Taehyung's expression shifts subtly, his gaze hardens. He pulls Jin a little closer, but there's no gentleness in the motion. His voice is calm, yet there's a distinct chill to it as he says, "Just remember our contract."

Jin, taken aback, frowns slightly. "Contract?" he echoes, his confusion evident.

Taehyung's grip tightens ever so slightly, and his eyes lock onto Jin's with a cold intensity. "Yes, the one that keeps you tied to me," he says, his tone sharp. "If You forget, and the penalty will be worse than you can imagine."

Jin swallows, feeling the weight of Taehyung's words.

Taehyung continues, his voice low and emotionless. "By the time you're done paying, you'll be old, tired, and wishing you hadn't made the mistake of crossing me."

Taehyung releases him, leaning back without another word, leaving Jin stunned and unsure of how to respond.

Jin sat in silence, his mind racing after Taehyung's cold words. The tension in the car was palpable, and Jin could feel the weight of Taehyung's gaze lingering on him. He wanted to say something, to break the icy atmosphere, but the words wouldn't come.

Taehyung, without looking at him again, went back to his phone, scrolling through work messages as if nothing had happened. His calm demeanor only deepened the distance between them.

After a few minutes, Jin quietly whispered, "I'll remember."

Taehyung glanced at him briefly, his expression unreadable. "Good."
