(A/N: this is over a year old holy shit 😣)
Different AU where Woola didn't get turned into a smiling critter, her husband dying instead, and is a human trying to look for children to apologize for everything :3
Also since this is Gametoons Catnap's nice. Yes I hate the in game Shitnap but I like the Gametoons Catnap, idk what's wrong with me😔
(A/N again: I wrote this note around the same time ago and just left it like that, coughs)
Another thing you should know!! Obviously there's OCs but there's OCs that don't belong to me! They belong to my bestie Gaminggirl855 :D

Mary parked her car behind the trees, not too close but not too far. It was midnight so it was dark, not the best choice she's ever made but she'll live
Recently she got a letter from the place that the orphans are still here and that none were adopted so they're stuck. She didn't know if it was true considering they would've been dead without food but she did remember the place had a kitchen or three for the kids when she worked here, though, she was suddenly fired out of nowhere after she called out sick
She thought it was weird but didn't think much of it anymore after she got a new job. Well.. She mostly didn't think of it, only thinking of it when remembering about her 2 kids she left at the orphanage after her husband's death as she thought it was the best decision in the moment.
However, the more she thought about it over the years, the more she realized it was the worst choice, she could've looked for other solutions that didn't involve her children becoming orphans. She could've hired a babysitter or just simply stop overworking and actually do her job as a parent. But of course she just had to fall for her mother's lie, money for her "illness" which she just faked for the free cash.
She doesn't even know herself why she even fell for it considering the fact she never had a good relationship with the lying bitch, she could only guess it was because of guilt, or maybe even hope that their relationship would change. However, she was also at fault for not seeing it earlier.
Mary snapped herself out of her thoughts, grabbing her bag to check if all the supplies she needed were in there. Flashlights, snacks, phone, bandages, and the map of the place she was first given when she was just hired
She got out of the car and let the door fall into the car and close by itself. Leaves crunching as she walked toward the metal fence surrounding the now shutdown toy factory, once filled with creative ideas and children who giggled and laughed with joy.
Mary grabbed onto it with one hand and shook it lightly, checking if it'll fall when she climbs it
The fence shook but did not fall, she shook harder and the result was the same, so she began climbing it. When she was at the top of the metal fence, she swung her legs over it before jumping down from the metal fence, landing on her feet with a crunch from the leaves on the ground
Walking toward the giant building she once dedicated her life to, she stopped in front of it to look at the outside of it one last time as she knew this would take more than just a day with how big the place is
She sighed before walking towards the doors and kicking it open, stepping inside the building for the first time in 9 years
She'll just have to hope this won't be the last place she'll spend her last moments in

In the playcare orphanage, critters were running around playing a game of hide & seek, the game had just started so they were seeking for a spot to hide
