Red lights faded before quickly coming back and repeating. Alarms blaring more then necessary. Loud enough to wake up anyone. Including Cutie Cuddly herself
The blue and pink colored toy uncomfortably woke up in her gray cell, the shock collar digging into her neck. The bright red flashing lights hitting her eyes immediately
She didn't know what was going on, this was unusual. Was there another breach?
When she focused hard enough, she could hear screaming. Way more than usual. They didn't sound like the other experiments or children who were just taken into testing
Then she heard a familiar screech. One that she recognized. Made her jump up onto her feet and run closer to the window of her cell in hopes of seeing the two people she so desperately wanted to be with again
Oddly enough, there was no scientist on the other side of the glass. It only excited Cutie more. Were all of the bad people getting what they deserved? The experiments were finally fighting back?
Cutie's thoughts were interrupted when the double doors outside of her cell slid open. A blue figure stood behind it before ducking under the doorway, revealing to be Huggy
"Daddy!" Cutie called out from behind the glass, waving her hand excitedly
Huggy immediately ran up to the glass to look at his daughter he hadn't seen in so long. Smile softening into a genuine one instead of the forced, fake smile he always wore for the people in the lobby
Cutie pressed her face and paws on the glass in an attempt to be closer with her dad. Huggy pressed one paw on where Cutie's was
The blue toy then looked to his left, the metal door to the cell, which needed a 6-digit password to unlock. It would be difficult to simply rip this particular door off its hinges and Huggy might get injured doing so
Huggy didn't care in the moment. He just wanted to hug his daughter again
It felt like hours had passed, which only 2 minutes had, when Huggy finally ripped the door off. His paws were bruised and bled a bit, but he finally had his daughter back
Almost immediately, Huggy wrapped Cutie into a hug. Holding onto her as if she would get taken from him again like all those years ago
Cutie hugged him back the same way, tearing up before starting to full on cry into her Huggy's shoulder. Glad to finally be back with her dad again
Years being tortured by those cruel people, isolated from everyone, suppressing her emotions to not satisfy those awful scientists, were finally acknowledged in tears when she felt safe
Huggy let her cry, rubbing his back on her back to soothe her. She needed this
It reminded him of when they were still human, when she used to have nightmares and sometimes come to him for comfort
It's been so long. Too long
After a awhile, Cutie soon calmed down. Only a few sniffles were heard, even then, Huggy didn't dare to put her down. Instead, he walked out of the lab carrying her
"I'll take you somewhere safer"

I kinda slipped in my own headcannons of when the two were still humans, like the nightmares thing, I like to think she would go to either him or Kissy depending on who was available in the moment
Also if you're wondering where Kissy is she's just murdering the people in the tunnels and guarding that area so no one escapes lmao
