You and Fermin had been seeing each other for the last few weeks, it had been an absolute whirlwind.

It had been amazing getting to know one another and managing to hide your relationship from the world, being with a footballer wasn't something that you had planned but when you saw him for the first time you were smitten immediately.

"Hello" he smiled as he walked down the tunnel after the game to see you, as he was suffering from another small injury he was disappointed about it all again.

"Hi" you cuddled him tightly as you felt he really needed that cuddle more than he probably realised.

"You okay?" you asked him as he watched your lips as you spoke to him.

"I am okay" he smiled as he pulled away as he looked sad.

"What is really up? you seem sad" you asked as you walked to the car.

"No it is okay, just miss playing that is all. I really am missing it. But we got the win so that is okay" he smiled as you jumped in the car.

The car journey was quiet as he was going to drop you off at your flat as you had an early shift at work in the morning.

As you grabbed your bag down, he leaned across as he kissed your lips softly.

Taking you completely by surprise, as you had been seeing him for a few weeks you hadn't kissed yet.

"Mm that lipgloss is sticky" he laughed.

"I wasn't expecting that kiss" you laughed nervously.

"Why not? I was always going to kiss you eventually. I think I left you waiting for long enough" you smirked as you nodded in agreement.

"You're very right, but it was very much worth the wait" you smiled as you leaned into him again and kissed his lips.

"It was, that was too" you smirked as you jumped out of the car as you waved and headed back to your flat, feeling like you were on cloud nine after that kiss.
