4. Meeting in a coffee shop

As you sat down with your iced caramel latte, sitting with your book as you looked up and saw the most incredibly fit man as he entered the coffee shop.

"Oh my gosh" you whispered as you stopped reading your book.

You tried your hardest to make it not so obvious that you were looking but you just couldn't keep your eyes off of him.

As he picked up his coffee cup, he scanned the shop as it seemed to be a lot busier than it usually was.

He noticed that there was one empty seat, he hesitated before going across the coffee shop and he didn't want to intrude the lady at the table.

"Hi, is this seat available? it's very busy in here?" he asked as you looked up and watched him as he pointed to the empty seat beside you.

"Yes you can sit there" you smiled as you watched him sit down.

"Thank you so much" he gave you a big smile as he sipped on his coffee.

As you went back to your book, you weren't sure if you felt comfortable having a conversation with him just yet.

"What book are you reading?" he asked you as you looked up from behind the book.

"This one, it is a good book. A long book" you smiled as you showed him closely the book.

"Ahh that looks good, shame I don't read as much as I would like to. I may start reading again if I get the time" He gave a big smile.

You felt as if your heart melted at that point as you saw his beautiful smile.

"What's your name? I feel like I owe you for letting me sit here" he smile as you took a sip of your coffee.

"y/n" you replied.

"Micky, lovely to meet you" he gave you yet another big smile that made your heart melt again.

"Lovely to meet you, do I know you though? you look so familiar?" you asked him as you watched as people entered the extremely busy coffee shop.

"Erm, you may know me if you like football I guess" Micky casually shrugged his shoulders as if it was nothing what he just said.

"Oh yeah, I like football a bit" you smiled as you placed your book down as you were somewhat interested in a total stranger now.

"Well I play for a team in the premier league, Tottenham" he gave you a smile.

"Ahh yes that is amazing, well it is lovely to meet you" you told him as he nodded.

"It has been lovely to meet you too" Micky smiled.

"Look I know we've just met, but would it be okay if we exchange numbers?" Micky nervously asked you as you nodded.

"Yes that sounds perfect" you smiled as you typed your name into his phone.
