As you watched on from the stand, you watched nervously as Florian was down injured.

The stoppage in play was taking a while, usually he would get up straight away. This time felt different, he seemed pretty hurt.

Feeling as if your heart had stopped as he hobbled off of the pitch, instantly wanting to go down to the tunnel to see how he was. But you knew you weren't allowed too.

You waited until the 90th minute to head down to the tunnel to go and see Florian.

Luckily the staff know you, so you were allowed to head into the changing room as the players all greeted you.

"Hey" you whispered as you walked into the changing room as you saw him looking so dejected which wasn't like him at all.

"What is the injury?" you asked Florian as you gently sat down on the bench beside him.

"Not actually too sure, but it looks like a serious one. Can we just go home please? I will go and get it checked out tomorrow properly when I get scanned" you nodded as you watched as the medical staff came back in with a pair of crutches.

"Thank you, see you tomorrow. Come in for a scan right?" Florian asked as they nodded.

"Yes Flo, see you tomorrow. Hopefully it isn't as serious as first thought. But the swelling will need to go down of course, so make sure you ice it over night" the medical staff suggested.

"Of course, thanks again" he smiles as they wave at you both.

You helped Florian up as he struggled with his crutches as he had his protective boot on.

"Come on you, let's get you home" you smiled as you ruffled up his messy hair as he followed you out of the changing room.

You smiled as he managed to get into the car without much trouble which was good.

"Right now let's head home, you okay?" you asked him again, not wanting to annoy him anymore than he already was.

"Yeah I'm okay, tired and a bit sore. But could do with a big cuddle" you smiled as you gently rubbed his leg as you made your way home.
