You were sitting in the local coffee shop in Madrid, just watching the world go by as you people watched everyone.

Sipping on your iced latte as someone passed your table you instantly recognised.

As he walked past your table, his head turned as he stood in front of your table as he gave you a smile.

"Are you y/n?" he asked as you nodded whilst looking straight up at him.

"Yes that is me, you're Robin?" you asked him.

"Yep it is, I haven't seen you in years.How are you? Is it okay if I sit here?" he asked as he pulled out the empty chair.

"Of course" you watched as he sat in front of you.

"It has been the longest time, how are you?" you asked as you sipped your latte.

"I am good thank you, how are you doing? I read about your injury" you mentioned as he shrugged.

"It is okay, hate not playing but I know I will be back soon and that is all that matters. How are you? It has been so long since we have seen each other, I really didn't think you would be living here still" Robin smiled.

"Well I moved for a few years to the UK to study and decided to come back to try and find a job. It has been okay, I found one but it is alright. Just a little boring that is all. What about you? I have been following your career and always telling people that I knew you from school" you mumbled with pride in your voice.

"Aww do you? that is so cute. I am glad you're doing well though, look I gotta go I have to see the physios at Madrid. How about we exchange numbers and maybe meet up? or go out for dinner or something" Robin pulled his number out of his pocket as he passed you the phone as you punched in your number.

"I love that, yes. Okay well I'll see you around, it has been lovely seeing you again" you got up from your chair to hug him.

"See you soon" He got up and waved.
