The last few weeks had felt like you had barely seen each other, it was as if you were constantly passing one another.

Ruben had been travelling to games more frequently and you missed him so much, all you wanted to do was just to hug him.

As you were laying in bed with your book, you noticed your phone buzzing as it was Ruben.

"Hello" you smiled as you propped your phone up on the side so you could talk to him.

"Hey" Ruben whispered.

"So where are you?" you asked him.

"In a hotel in Bournemouth, it is pretty nice. I wish you were here though" you smiled as you watched as a big grin appeared on his face.

"Aww I miss you too Rubes, the bed feels so lonely without you. Hopefully it won't be too long till we see each other again"

"I know, same here. Hopefully not too long amor. I'll be home soon, maybe one day you can come to an away game and can come see me" he grinned.

"Yeah I would love that, need to get out of work. My shift today was exhausting" you sighed loudly as you watched him yawn.

"Aww sorry about that, I will be home soon" he smiled.

"Well it's getting late, I better leave you and your book to head off to bed. Have a good sleep, but don't miss me too much" Ruben blew a kiss at the camera.

"Thank you, I will miss you don't you worry about that Rube. Good luck for your game, I'll be watching" you grinned as you waved, blowing him a kiss to the camera as you switched the phone off before settling down for bed.
