28. Discussing baby names

Being 6 months pregnant, you knew you were getting closer and closer to the end and welcoming your baby into the world.

"We really need to discuss baby names, they are coming soon and it's going to go crazy fast and we are no nearer to picking a name out yet" you told Robin as you waved the baby book by him as he walked into the room.

"Okay, so any ideas in that book of yours?" he grabbed the book from you as he looked.

"I mean I like some, but we don't know what we are having so I suppose we have to decide on a few names. I'm reading the book but nothing is jumping out at me. It is serious work to try and name a baby" you sighed as you tried to get comfy on the sofa.

"It is, but we better find one soon. Isn't there a rule you have to name the baby within a few weeks of them being born" he asked as you nodded.

"Yep, I'm pretty sure you do. I like Alicia or Amelia, Sophia is cute" you told him as you stretched so far forward to get your notepad to write the names down.

"I like those, what about boy names? they need to go with Le Normand though" he told you.

"But I don't have that surname just yet" you hinted at him, hoping you could get married one day.

"Oh well, that can be arranged" he teased.

"Stop distracting me like this, what about boy names?" you urged him to give you suggestions as you held the pen with a near empty piece of paper.

"Matthew, Dylan, Carlos, Alejandro are all cute names" Robin suggested as you wrote them all down.

"Yes they are cute, I like those. Okay okay, we are getting somewhere" you laughed as you finished writing the suggestions down as you watched Robin looking through the baby name book.
