Izuku and Kyoka stood together near the entrance of U.A. High, surrounded by other participants waiting for the physical portion of the exam to begin. They shared a quiet moment, knowing they'd have to part ways. Izuku had been assigned to Gate A, while Kyoka was sent to Gate D. Though they'd trained together and supported each other all this time, today they'd be facing this challenge separately.
Kyoka, {trying to keep it light}: "Guess we're splitting up here. Don't go wrecking the place before I get started, alright?"
Izuku smiled, nodding, though he felt a pang of sadness. He'd grown used to having her by his side, but he knew she'd be just as fierce and capable on her own.
Izuku, {reassuringly}: "I'll do my best. Good luck, Kyoka!"
They exchanged a quick fist bump before heading off. As Izuku arrived at Gate A, he joined the growing crowd of participants, all stretching and psyching themselves up. Among them, he noticed the blue-haired boy from earlier—the one who had called him out in the auditorium. The boy was doing some very precise stretches, his gaze intense as he prepared himself.
Izuku did his own stretches, shaking off his nerves. He knew he needed to focus and be ready to give it his all. As he bent to touch his toes, he heard a low rumbling sound. The massive gate before them was starting to open, revealing the sprawling cityscape inside. This was it—the mock city where they'd be tested.
Without waiting for an official signal, Izuku powered up One For All, green lightning crackling around his body as he surged forward through the gate. He knew there was no time to waste. Every second counted.
Participant, {pointing and yelling}: "Hey! That guy's cheating!"
Another Participant, {frowning}: "What's he doing? We haven't even started!"
The crowd murmured with confusion and frustration, but Izuku kept going, focused on getting a head start. Suddenly, Present Mic's voice blared over the speakers, cutting through the chatter and silencing the complaints.
Present Mic, {excitedly}: "HEY, HEY, HEY! WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING, STANDING AROUND?! DID YOU THINK THERE'D BE A COUNTDOWN? THIS IS THE REAL DEAL! THERE'S NO COUNTDOWN WHEN YOU'RE SAVING PEOPLE IN THE REAL WORLD! SO GO, GO, GO!"
Izuku grinned as he heard Present Mic's words. The participants, spurred into action, snapped out of their confusion and began rushing through the gate, the blue-haired boy among them. He shot Izuku a quick glare as he sprinted past, but Izuku paid him no mind. He was already focused on the task ahead, weaving through the mock city, his senses on high alert for the first signs of a target.
The initial confusion had given him a head start, but he knew he had to keep his pace up if he wanted to rack up points. He darted down the main street, his eyes scanning the surroundings as he moved. Izuku sprinted down the street, his senses sharp and his mind focused.
He spotted a 1-Pointer bot lumbering toward him, its metal limbs clanking with each step. Without breaking his stride, Izuku activated One For All at 10%, his body surging with power. He leaped into the air, aiming a powerful kick at the bot's head. The force of his attack shattered the robot instantly, sending pieces of metal clattering to the ground.
Landing smoothly, Izuku turned and spotted a 2-Pointer approaching from the right. This bot was bulkier, with reinforced arms designed for smashing through obstacles. Izuku waited until it lunged forward, then sidestepped with lightning-fast reflexes. He spun around, delivering a swift punch to the bot's midsection, his green lightning crackling as he did. The impact tore through the metal plating, causing the bot to collapse in a heap of smoking debris.
A 3-Pointer rolled in behind him, towering over the other bots with multiple limbs and spinning saw blades ready to attack. Izuku took a deep breath, upping his power to 15% as he charged forward. With a quick burst of speed, he ducked beneath the whirling blades, dodging each strike with ease. As he got in close, Izuku unleashed a powerful uppercut, the force so strong that the bot was lifted off its feet and crashed backward, shattering upon impact with the ground.

The control room was alive with chatter as Principal Nezu, Eraserhead, Ectoplasm, Midnight, Cementoss, Snipe, and All Might sat around a series of monitors, watching the U.A. Entrance Exam unfold. Each screen displayed different sections of the mock city, showing the participants battling against the various robot villains. The teachers made notes, occasionally praising a student's impressive technique or shaking their heads at a costly mistake.
Midnight, {grinning as she watched one of the screens}: "That one has some serious guts! Look at that takedown!"
Snipe, {nodding}: "Yeah, but the kid's reckless. He could've gotten himself hurt there."
Ectoplasm pointed to another screen where a participant was expertly dodging attacks, and Cementoss chimed in, discussing strategies and potential flaws they observed in the students. The atmosphere was light, though each teacher took their role seriously, keenly observing every move of the aspiring heroes.
Then, on one of the screens, a particular green-haired boy appeared. Izuku Midoriya moved with precision and power, taking down a series of robots with calculated ease. He ducked, dodged, and struck with a fluidity that caught everyone's attention.
Eraserhead, {nodding in recognition}: "There he is. That's Crust's sidekick."
Nezu, {smiling knowingly}: "Yes, that's young Midoriya. I had a feeling he'd do well today."
All Might, who had been silently watching the monitors, leaned forward, a frown creasing his forehead. There was something familiar about the boy, something he couldn't quite place. The way he moved, the power he displayed—it all seemed strangely reminiscent. He narrowed his eyes, and a memory surfaced from ten months ago: a desperate, Quirkless boy clinging to his leg, begging for an answer.
All Might, {skeptical, thinking to himself}: 'Wasn't that kid Quirkless?'
His curiosity piqued, All Might turned to Nezu.
All Might, {calm but curious}: "Principal Nezu, could you bring up that boy's file on the screen?"
Nezu nodded, pressing a button, and Izuku Midoriya's profile appeared on the main monitor.

[Name: Izuku Midoriya

All Might, {thinking, suspicious}: "A late bloomer, huh?"
He wasn't buying it. The term "late bloomer" might work for some, but it didn't sit right with him. He remembered the boy being adamantly Quirkless when they met. All Might couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this story. He considered the possibility of Izuku acquiring a Quirk from Him—someone with the ability to transfer Quirks.
Nezu glanced at All Might, noticing the contemplative look on his face.
Nezu, {casually}: "Oh, and did I mention? Izuku is currently working as a sidekick for Crust. He goes by the name Oneforce."
The room fell silent for a moment as everyone absorbed the news. Midnight raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed, while Ectoplasm and Snipe exchanged surprised glances. Even Eraserhead looked momentarily taken aback.
Cementoss, {surprised}: "Wait, that kid's Oneforce? I've heard about him. He's been making quite a name for himself already."
All Might felt a surge of surprise himself, his mind racing. How had he not heard about this? He'd been so focused on finding a successor that he hadn't paid attention to the rising talents in the hero world. And this boy—Izuku—had been growing in strength and reputation under his nose.
All Might, {internally, questioning}: "Why does this Quirk sound familiar? Could it be...?"
He couldn't shake the nagging feeling that he should know more, that this was somehow connected to something bigger.

Izuku stood amidst the rubble, catching his breath after destroying yet another 2-Pointer. He quickly tallied up his score in his head, estimating he'd collected enough points to pass the U.A. Entrance Exam. A sense of relief washed over him, but he stayed alert, scanning the area for any remaining threats just in case.
Suddenly, the ground beneath him shook violently, sending cracks spiderwebbing across the pavement. He looked up, watching as other participants began sprinting past him, their faces pale with fear, shouting warnings.
Participant, {yelling as they ran}: "Run! The 0-Pointer is here! Get out of the way!"
Izuku's eyes widened as he turned to see a massive shadow looming over him. Towering above the buildings, a monstrous robot with glowing red lights on its head stared down, its immense metal arms smashing everything in its path. This had to be the infamous 0-Pointer.
Izuku considered his options, glancing back at the fleeing participants. This robot didn't offer any points—taking it down wouldn't add anything to his score. He remembered Present Mic's words about avoiding it if possible, and for a moment, he thought about simply leaving it alone. After all, his score was probably high enough.
But as he looked back at the massive, lumbering machine, he felt a sense of challenge stir within him. He'd come so far, trained so hard, and faced down countless obstacles. Why turn away now?
Izuku, {thinking to himself, confidently}: "Well... it may not give points, but I didn't come here just to avoid obstacles."
With that decision made, Izuku powered up One For All to 15%, feeling the familiar crackle of green lightning surge through his arm. He lifted his hand, focusing energy into his fingers.
With a smirk look, he flicked his fingers forward, releasing a powerful blast of compressed air. The force of the flick generated a shockwave, rippling outward with enough intensity to shake the buildings nearby. The compressed air blasted straight into the 0-Pointer, striking it square in the head with incredible force.
The robot's head caved in under the impact, metal tearing and wires sparking. The sheer power of the blast destabilized it, and within moments, the massive machine collapsed, crashing to the ground in a cloud of smoke and debris.
Izuku lowered his hand, watching as the dust settled around the now-destroyed 0-Pointer.
Around him, the participants who had been fleeing stopped to stare, their mouths hanging open in awe at the sheer power that had just been displayed. But he paid them no mind, quietly assessing his work with a small, satisfied smile.
Izuku, {thinking to himself, satisfied}: "Alright, that should be enough."

From the control room, the teachers looked on, equally astonished.
Eraserhead, {raising an eyebrow}: "That kid... took down the 0-Pointer with one move."
Midnight, {leaning forward, wide-eyed}: "And he wasn't even trying for points! He just... decided to do it."
All Might was watching intently, his gaze locked onto the screen showing Izuku. He felt a strange familiarity with that display of power—a surge that felt almost like destiny unfolding before his eyes.
All Might, {thinking to himself, startled}: "That's him... the Quirkless boy from before. How...?"
Even Principal Nezu looked impressed, his small paws clasped together as he watched Izuku on the monitor.
Nezu, {smiling knowingly}: "Our little Oneforce certainly knows how to make an impact."
Back in the arena, Present Mic was the first to recover from his shock, his usual energy returning as he lifted the microphone with an even louder enthusiasm.
Present Mic, {shouting over the speakers}: "AND THAT'S A WRAP, EVERYONE! THAT'S THE END OF THE U.A. ENTRANCE EXAM! WELL DONE, HERO CANDIDATES!"
The announcement echoed through the exam grounds, and slowly, the participants began to process that the exam was officially over. Many of them exchanged looks, still shocked by the display of power they had just witnessed.
Izuku dusted himself off. He knew he'd gone a bit overboard, but he felt a sense of satisfaction. This was the kind of hero he wanted to be—someone who didn't back down, even in the face of a daunting challenge.
Leaving the wreckage of the 0-Pointer behind, he made his way out of the exam area and headed to the meeting point where he'd agreed to meet Kyoka after the test. As he approached, he saw her waiting near the gates, her arms crossed and a smirk on her face. She looked amused, as if she'd already heard about his performance.Kyoka, {smirking as he approached}: "Heard some rumors that someone completely obliterated the 0-Pointer. That wouldn't happen to be you, hero boy?"
Izuku blushed, rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish smile.
Izuku, {laughing nervously}: "Maybe... I thought it'd be a good idea to, you know, go all out."
Kyoka rolled her eyes, reaching up to flick him gently on the forehead.
Kyoka, {teasing}: "Show-off. But hey, nice work. Looks like U.A. just found themselves a powerhouse."
Izuku chuckled, feeling a mix of relief and pride as they walked away together.
