Chapter 9: First Heroic Act!

The sun was just beginning to set as Izuku and Crust set out for their first patrol together. The streets were busy with the evening hustle, people going about their day, but Izuku couldn't shake the nervous excitement bubbling inside him. This was his first real patrol—a chance to prove himself, to test all the training he had been doing under Crust's guidance.

Izuku walked beside Crust, with his eyes scanning the streets.

Crust, {glancing at Izuku}: "Relax, lad. It's just a patrol. Don't overthink it."

Izuku nodded, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. He knew Crust was right—he just needed to stay focused and remember his training.

As they passed by a large bank on the corner of the street, a sudden alarm blared, startling the crowd nearby. People started to panic, rushing out of the building as the sound of crashing and shouting echoed from inside. Izuku's eyes widened, and he instinctively tensed.

Izuku, {focused}: "Looks like we've got trouble."

Crust nodded, his expression becoming serious.

Crust, {calmly}: "Looks like a robbery. You ready?"

Izuku swallowed his nerves and nodded, activating One For All at 5%. The familiar crackle of green lightning sparking around his body.

Together, they rushed toward the bank. As they entered, Izuku quickly took in the scene: three armed robbers, each holding large sacks of money, were trying to make their way to the back exit. One of them had a Quirk that allowed him to create barriers, which he used to block the exit doors.

Izuku's eyes narrowed, his mind racing as he calculated the best approach. He didn't have time to hesitate.

Izuku, {determined}: "I've got this!"

With a burst of speed, Izuku activated 10% of One For All, dashing forward in a blur. The robbers barely had time to react as Izuku moved between them. The first robber swung a bat, but Izuku dodged effortlessly, using his enhanced reflexes to grab the weapon mid-swing and disarm the man in one swift motion. A quick punch to the gut, softened with his reinforced gloves, sent the robber crashing to the ground, groaning in pain.

The second robber tried to blast Izuku with a fire-based Quirk, but Izuku increased his speed to 15%, dodging the flames with ease. He closed the distance in a heartbeat, delivering a precise kick to the man's legs, sweeping him off his feet. The robber hit the floor hard, his flames flickering out as he lost consciousness.

That left the third robber, the one creating barriers. He had his back to the door, looking panicked as he threw up another barrier between himself and Izuku.

Robber, {panicked}: "S-Stay back! You can't get through this!"

But Izuku remained calm, his eyes locked onto the barrier. He adjusted his stance and focused *One For All* into his arm, preparing to strike. With a powerful punch at 15% strength, Izuku shattered the barrier in a single blow, the green lightning from One For All crackling around him as the energy dissipated.

The robber's eyes widened in shock, and before he could react, Izuku swiftly moved behind him and restrained him, knocking him out with a careful, controlled hit to the neck.

In less than a minute, the bank was secure, and the threat was neutralized. Izuku stood amidst the chaos, feeling proud of how he had handled the situation.

Crust walked in, surveying the scene with a nod of approval.

Crust, {grinning slightly}: "Nice work, Midoriya. You kept it under control."

Before Izuku could respond, the police arrived, quickly securing the robbers and taking statements from the bank employees. One of the officers approached Izuku, raising an eyebrow as he looked at the young hero.

Officer, {curiously}: "You handled those guys pretty well, but I've never seen you around before. You a new Hero?"

Izuku, still a bit nervous but standing tall, nodded and pulled out his Provisional Hero License from his pocket. He handed it to the officer, who inspected it carefully.

Izuku, {calmly}: "Sorta, sir. I'm working under Crust right now. My hero name is Oneforce."

The officer looked at the card and then back at Izuku, nodding in approval.

Officer, {impressed}: "Oneforce, huh? Well, you sure lived up to the name today. Good work, kid."

Izuku smiled, feeling a sense of pride swell inside him. This was the first time he had officially introduced himself as Oneforce, and hearing the officer's acknowledgment made it feel real.

Crust clapped a hand on Izuku's shoulder, his voice gruff but approving.

Crust, {proudly}: "You did well today. Keep it up, and you'll make a name for yourself in no time."

Izuku nodded, his heart racing with excitement. This was just the beginning. His first patrol as Oneforce was a success, and he knew there would be many more challenges ahead. But for now, he was ready to take on whatever came next.
