With only five months left until the U.A. entrance exam. His body had changed a lot over the past few months, thanks to the intense training and the raw power of One For All. Today, he was on his way to a nearby store to purchase a weighted vest and gloves to further enhance his strength training.
As he neared a busy intersection, the sound of chaos erupted ahead of him. Shouts, crashes, and the unmistakable sounds of a fight filled the air. Izuku's heart raced as he quickly moved toward the commotion, only to see a familiar scene of destruction. Smoke billowed from a partially collapsed building, and civilians were scattering in every direction.
In the center of the chaos, Izuku spotted the pro hero Crust, the No. 6 Hero, battling multiple villains at once. His Quirk, Shield, allowed him to create durable, hexagonal shields from his body, but it was clear he was struggling.
The villains—three of them, with strong offensive quirks—were overwhelming him with sheer numbers. A few of his shields were already shattered, and he was on the defensive.
Izuku's instincts kicked in immediately. He had to help. Without a second thought, he activated 5% of One For All, and dashes forward.
Izuku, {thinking quickly to himself}: 'I've got to create an opening for Crust!'
The first villain, a hulking figure with fists made of stone, charged at Crust, ready to land a devastating blow. But before he could reach the pro hero, Izuku appeared in a blur, landing a swift kick to the villain's side. The force sent the villain flying into a nearby wall, crashing with a heavy thud.
Crust looked up in surprise, catching a glimpse of Izuku before quickly turning his attention back to the remaining two villains.
Crust, {gritting his teeth}: "Kid, what are you doing? This is dangerous!"
But Izuku didn't stop. He dodged a blast of fire from the second villain, using his speed to circle around and land a well-placed punch to the villain's abdomen, knocking the wind out of him. The villain stumbled backward, clearly not expecting such a quick and powerful hit from a teenager.
Crust took advantage of the opening Izuku had created, forming a large shield to block the final villain's attack before slamming the shield into him, sending the villain sprawling.
In less than a minute, the tides had turned. The villains, now disoriented and injured, realized they were outmatched. They exchanged panicked glances before retreating but Crust knocks them out with "Shoot Shield."
Izuku stood still for a moment, breathing heavily as he powers down. He glanced over at Crust, who was catching his breath and assessing the situation. The pro hero turned to Izuku, his expression stern but not unkind.
Crust, {serious but impressed}: "You know you could be in big trouble for using your Quirk like that. You're not licensed, kid."
Izuku swallowed nervously, his heart still racing from the fight. He knew the rules—he wasn't supposed to use his Quirk in public, especially in such a high-stakes situation. But before he could say anything in his defense, Crust's expression softened, and a big smile appears on his face.
Crust, {nodding with approval}: "But I have to say, your moves were nothing short of impressive! Fast, decisive, and clever thinking! A true package deal! You created an opening when I was overwhelmed, and you knew exactly when to strike."
Izuku blinked, his nerves giving way to surprise. He hadn't expected a pro hero—especially someone as high-ranking as Crust—to praise him. He fidgeted slightly, scratching the back of his head.
Izuku, {sheepishly}: "I-I just saw that you needed help... I didn't really think, I just acted."
Crust studied him for a moment longer, clearly weighing something in his mind. Then, to Izuku's shock, the pro hero stepped forward and placed a hand on his shoulder.
Crust, {grinning}: "You've got potential, kid. I've seen a lot of up-and-coming heroes in my time, but the way you handled yourself out there... that's rare. You've got the instincts of a pro, and the guts to back it up."
Izuku's eyes widened, his heart pounding even harder now. Was this really happening? Was *Crust*—the No. 6 Pro Hero—really saying this to him?
Crust, {smirking slightly}: "How about this? Why don't you train under me? I could help you refine those moves of yours. I'll make sure you don't get into trouble for using your Quirk... next time."
Izuku's jaw nearly dropped. Crust, one of the heroes he had admired for so long, was offering to take him on as a student? His mind raced as he tried to process the offer, but he quickly nodded, a mixture of excitement and disbelief flooding through him.
Izuku, {grinning nervously but excited}: "Y-Yes! I'd love that!"
Crust chuckled and patted him on the back.
Crust, {grinning}: "Good! Then it's settled! You'll learn a lot, kid, but I'll make sure you're ready for the entrance exam. You've got five months to get even stronger. Let's see what you're made of."
Izuku could hardly contain his excitement. This was a dream come true, a chance to learn from one of the best. With Crust's guidance, he knew he could push himself even further—and maybe, just maybe, he'd be ready for U.A.
