Halloween special 🎃

BSD REALITY

Sitting lazily on the couch, watching some cartoons, the best way to spend a mild afternoon. At least in my opinion. The autumn leaves fell around us with a cool breeze making them whirl and twirl around like dancers, but luckily Dazai and I had no errands to run, no work or lessons to attend, and nothing else to do, meaning the whole day could be spent lounging around.

"What date is it today?" I asked, swinging my legs lazily on the couch.

"October 30th. Why?" He was doing some jobs around the house when he replied, but he put the clean clothes down to focus on my question, walking over and leaning on the couch so that he was looking right down at me.

"Dazai don't you know what happens tomorrow!?" I gasped, frantically standing up and facing him. How could we have forgotten such an important date until just now?

"Oh uh, should I?" He looked slightly surprised, watching as I jumped up. I stared at him dumbfounded for a second, before speaking up and revealing what we missed.

"It's Halloween tomorrow! We have to decorate and find a costume for the party that we are hosting!"

"And you're telling me this now!? We have to hurry! How did we forget such a thing?" He jumped up like me, rushing around the house for a minute before grabbing his keys and headlining towards the door. The keys jingled and the door slammed behind us, and before I knew it we were driving on the open road towards the nearest Halloween store.

The two of us drove through the streets hastily, parking up right outside. The store was decorated head to toe for Halloween, ghosts and dark figures jumping out at every entrance. Dazai and I entered hastily, my attention being grabbed by all the different props and costumes displayed at the front.

"We should make our place look haunted!" I rushed over to the huge props, including one that looked like a scary ghost, showing it off to Dazai.

"What a perfect idea, Y/N."

And so we scowered the entire store for any ghostly looking props that could spice up our apartment for the spooky day tomorrow.

"Ooh what about this? We have to get this one! And this too!" I rushed through the aisles, picking up armfuls of decorations.

"Woah Woah Y/N, we don't need all of this! My house isn't big enough for all these decorations." He picked up the load from my arms, placing some in the trolley while stashing some on the empty sums.

"What!" I huffed, continuing to walk ahead through the aisles.

"What will you dress up as Y/N?" He asked, rushing up to me, "You could be a witch? Or a skeleton?" Dazai picked up some of the outfits, showing them to me while gaping over how cute some of them looked.

"You have to get this one! There's a little cat that comes with it!" He said while pushing the outfit towards me.

"Ew no! I don't want to be a witch, that's an outfit for babies! I am a big person, and I want to be a pirate!"

"...A pirate?" He questioned, looking at me while a confused look crossed his face.

"Yes! With a sword and an eyepatch, and lots of treasure!" I said excitedly, already imagining how cool the outfit would look.

"I see, well let's go find you the cutest pirate costume!" He mirrored the excitement on my face.

"Dazai, Halloween is scary. I don't want to be a cute pirate, I want to be a scary pirate!"
