Chapter 7: Great Just Great (Hermes)

“Great. Just Great.”

Being stuck with three mortals that were probably 14 or 15 sucked. This was worse than Typhon, that's saying something. I handed the worker at the inn the amount of money for the room with a small smile.

“So love, is there any place for food near here?” I asked, I was definitely trying to flirt on this girl with red hair. He had a black streak in it too.

“I have a girlfriend, creep.” I was a bit baffled at what she said. Never thought I'd see that one coming.

“What's your name ma'am?” The brown haired girl that had a massive issue with me asked her.

“I'm Lillith, you?” She asked her. She seemed like a fiery  person but gods, she had some spunk. I liked that.

“I'm Willow, this is Mari and her brother Salvito.” She explained, so that was Willow. Gods I hated her even more now.

“So about the food places?” I asked again a little impatiently but I was childish so it was normal.

“We serve a breakfast in the morning and there's a small food hut a few buildings from here.” Lillith explained. She looked like she was done working this inn.

“Do you know what happened to Kiharn?” Willow asked her. The red head nodded.

“Yeah, poor people didn't deserve Axel’s rage. Most were only living their lives.” Lillith said back. Now I was confused. What happened to Kiharn? Who was affected?

“We’re the last people from there…” Mari explained to her. Lillith looked a little disappointed.

“You're the last from there? That's a little- how do I say, pathetic of your people?” She was also very sick and I now loved her for that.

“I- well you don't need to be rude about it!!” Willow shot back with a bit of shock and annoyance. And here I thought she hated me.

“You kinda deserve it chain braid.” I Said with a smirk they made her want to punch me. Why? Because she did! So now I'm on the floor in pain with a busted up nose. “Ow.” I muttered as I glared up at her. “The Hades was that for?!”

“Who’s Hades?” Lillith asked back, great. Just great.

“Didn't you know? We aren't Greek!” The Brunette with the messed up braid shot back.

“Yeah well I didn't think you'd punch me!” I whined back.

We all finally decided to go to a ‘food hut' and the tree girl invited Lillith to come too. We got to the diner easily and we ate something. I didn't even know or want to know what it was since it looked dead.

“Is all the food here like this?” I asked slowly. I didn't want the red head to bite my head off now.

“No? Just this place, I don't even know what this stuff is.” She said back, I groaned.

“That's reassuring” the little brother said, I think his name was Saltetto? I didn't remember.

“Yeah, very.” His sister Mari mumbled back. The rest of the meal was a few murmurs then we all went back to the inn.

“I'll take you to your rooms then see ya in the morning.” The red head said, I know her name. I just don't like it.

“Great! Who wants to stay with me?” Willow asked and mari was going to stay with her, I guess boys one room girls the other?

“Night!” Saltetto told his sister and the braid hair freak. Sorry, I just don't like her. What can I say? She punched me in the face.

“Night Savie, see you in the morning okay?” Mari told him before we went into the rooms, I laid in one bed, Saltetto laid in the other.

Hey! It's Cai, I hope you all know that you have read this chapter if you read chapter 7. I accidentally deleted it! Also I'm done with this damn photo I had so I'm changing it! I'm learning how to do poses with a bow and all the other weapons so I can do my doodles and story boards to show y'all!
