Chapter 19: Practice Is Worse Than Saltar (Anastatsi and Willow)

Now look, Sammy has probably lost it for the list he gave us for practice. He literally has a list that will take a month and we have three days to complete this all. I have never seen this crap!

Here's the list:
- Bows and arrow, rounding of 100 each
- Sword practicing and sparring
- Trench works
- Close combats
- Dagger usage
- Fire arrows
- Invading
- Non-humble fights
- Emotion training
- Ax training
- Spear works
- Attempting the needle's eye maneuver
- Knowing the Lenth au Harth maneuver.

Yeah, I think he definitely lost it... I can't see us even getting Lenth au Harth and the needle's eye in two weeks, let alone probably a day, we still have all the other stuff...

"Guys!!" It was Sammy. Nice.

We all went out to the courtyard, the cemetery we had in the far back gated shut. I sighed. I handed Samuel his stupidly long list.

"What first boss man?" I asked him as he nodded to the arrow range.

"Willow, Luna and I will work close combat for the first three hours, Annie and Salvito will work our arrows, Max and Patricia can you work with sword?" He called out.

Yeah no, I'm taking over. I have been staring at Samuel as if he's insane. I saw the list he wrote out. That's way too much...

But I still went over with him and Luna. I had my sword and dagger on my right since it was easier to grab with my left from there and my quiver on my left. My bow was in the chest at the end of the bed that Samuel got me. He handed me two dull things that went in my hands for up close combat.

"Knock someone in the head hard enough they can croak" He explained as I ducked under his swing.

"Well I don't wanna die!" I shot back. Kicking his shin.

"Ow- you bi-brat." I loved how he fixed himself.

"That's what you get." I shot back. I wasn't getting hit in the head.

"Gods you're bad sis..." He mumbled, Wait sis?

"Sis? I don't have any siblings, what are you talking about" I asked with a shaky chuckle as we started the two on one fight and I fought against both, it started slow.

"I- Did mom never tell you she had a son?" He sounded conflicted as I ducked and got away from another hit.

"She said I was her first and only..." I explained throwing a swing and getting Luna.

"I- No, I'm Maddison Blackblade's son... I- Maddison Blackblade and Alexander Moshwen. I-." I didn't know what to make of his statement. My mom cheated on her first husband? I thought she only loved my dad... Liam... (NOT LIAN)

"I didn't know she was married before my father..." I explained as we kept fighting it stayed silent but, you could tell it was tense. I got more fierce the more they taunted for practice.

"You can't do this." It was Luna's taunt.

"Shut it." I muttered as I swung a harder fist to her face. This was a game of duck and dodge now.

And don't get me wrong I loved a good fight but I hated this. The more I hit them and we got into more of a tussle and less of a close combat I felt a sharp pain in my forehead. I realized I was on the ground practically wrestling Samuel as we fought. My head was killing me...

"Shoot, are you okay?" He asked as I felt faint... I looked up at him.

"Yeah, where'd ya hit?" I asked as I held my forehead.

"I think, right temple area..." He mumbled, I could tell he was still concerned as I looked up at him.

"I think we're done with that for the day, yeah?" Luna asked us. I nodded.

"We can take a ten minute break and change what we're working on." Samuel was being stubborn on how much work we're doing.... I got water but my head still hurt a ton.

We took a break and he decided to make me and Luna do 100 rows of arrow firing. Easy. I was great with bow and arrow.

"That's totally the target Luna" I teased as she missed and hit Samuel in his thigh guard.

"Shut it fluff ball" she shot back. I had just realized how fluffy my hair was at that moment. I shot my last three arrows and got to walk away.

"Welp, suck it up bullseye." I shot back.

I got to walk out. Going into spear practice with Patricia, I was glad she was holding up alright. Though she seemed happier without Lillith. It was concerning in a way.

We didn't do much before Samuel made us practice the Lenth au Harth maneuver or something. I hated the stupid thing as we did it for hours, though I can see it being useful.

After all the training I was too tired to even eat so I flopped into bed and slept for the night. Screw you Samuel.

Actually, no. I love you Samuel (BECAUSE I'M SARCASTIC!!) I hope you sleep with one eye open. Because now I can't sleep. Actually, wait.

I decided to sneak to his room. He was sleeping. It was cute that him and Max cuddled in their sleep. But aside from that, I was kinda mad and hurt so I took ink on a paint brush. And I got to work on Samuel's face and back. If we were siblings, this is what I call sibling rivalry. I go through Saltar, he does too. Therefore yes I love my brother. I drew whiskers and stuff on his face and then a nice little "I'm gay and I love it" on his back. Feeling my revenge was necessary I then went to the kitchen.

I avenged myself and now I'll eat. I got a bit of bread. Before going to bed. Actually sleeping this time.
