Bakugou's eyes widened. He looked away, his cheeks flaming red. "Don't say that," he mumbled, his voice barely audible.
Izuku pressed on, his heart pounding in his chest. "I know it's sudden, and maybe you don't feel the same way. But I just wanted you to know..."
Bakugou interrupted him, his voice surprisingly soft. "I... I do feel the same way, Deku." He hesitated, then continued, his voice barely a whisper, "I've been trying to deny it, but... I think I like you too." Izuku's heart soared. He reached out, his hand trembling slightly as it touched Bakugou's arm. The fiery blond stiffened initially, then relaxed. Their hands remained clasped, a silent acknowledgment of the unspoken words hanging in the air.
As the night deepened, the stars twinkled above them, a silent witness to the blossoming of their feelings. The future remained uncertain, but one thing was clear – their journey together had taken an unexpected turn.
