Field Trip With A Secret

News of Midoriya and Bakugo's relationship spreads like wildfire through U.A. High. While most students offer their congratulations (and a few snickers), their newfound fame attracts unwanted attention. A reporter from a popular hero gossip magazine, known for its sensationalist articles and intrusive tactics, arrives at U.A., determined to get an "exclusive scoop" on the "power couple of heroics."

The reporter, a woman with a relentless smile and a flock of flashing cameras, corners Midoriya and Bakugo during lunch break. Her questions are invasive, prying into their personal lives and demanding details about their relationship.Midoriya, ever polite, tries to deflect her questions, while Bakugo explodes in frustration, threatening to blast the woman into the stratosphere if she doesn't back off.

Thankfully, Aizawa, their ever-vigilant homeroom teacher, intervenes, using his Erasure quirk to render the reporter's cameras useless. He chases her off campus, leaving a trail of frustrated shouts and muttered threats of "exposed secrets" in her wake.The incident throws the class into a frenzy. Uraraka, brimming with concern, suggests they lie low for a while. Kirishima, ever the supportive friend, offers his room for them to hide out in (much to Bakugo's displeasure).

However, their respite is short-lived. Later that day, Principal Nezu announces a surprise field trip - a visit to a secluded island research facility that specializes in quirk development and hero training.
The students erupt in excitement, eager for a change of scenery and the opportunity to train in a new environment. However, Midoriya and Bakugo can't help but feel a sense of unease. They suspect the reporter might be lurking somewhere, waiting for the perfect chance to capture a "candid moment" for her exploitative article.

Their suspicions turn out to be correct. During a training exercise on the island, they discover the reporter hiding in the bushes, her camera poised to capture their every move. She tries to flee, but Bakugo, with a well-aimed explosion, disables her camera and sends her tumbling into a nearby pile of leaves. Defeated but not giving up, the reporter reveals a shocking truth.

She wasn't sent by the gossip magazine after all. She was hired by a mysterious organization with a vested interest in their quirks and their relationship. Before they can question her further, a shadowy figure emerges from the trees. It's a villain they've never encountered before, their quirk seemingly manipulation of shadows. With a menacing grin, the villain engulfs the reporter in darkness, silencing her permanently.

The villain turns his attention to Midoriya and Bakugo, a chilling laughter echoing through the trees. "So," he sneers, "you're the famous couple. Let's see how strong your teamwork is against the power of shadows!" A fierce battle ensues. The villain's quirk proves formidable, creating illusions and manipulating shadows to disorient and separate them. Midoriya, relying on his agility and strategic thinking, tries to maneuver around the shadows, while Bakugo's powerful explosions illuminate the area, disrupting the villain's control.

However, the villain remains a step ahead. He manages to separate them, trapping Bakugo in a vortex of darkness and leaving Midoriya to face him alone. As Midoriya desperately searches for his partner, a sense of dread fills him. Suddenly, a voice cuts through the darkness. "You think separating us will weaken us, villain?" Bakugo's voice, filled with determination, rings out. "You underestimate the power of teamwork... and a good explosion!"

With a blinding flash and a deafening boom, a controlled explosion erupts from within the shadow vortex, creating an opening. Bakugo emerges, his clothes singed but his spirit unbroken.
Midoriya and Bakugo share a quick glance, a silent communication passing between them. They launch back into the fight, their teamwork refined through countless battles and now strengthened by their bond. Their combined quirks, one light and the other explosive, prove to be the perfect counter to the villain's shadowy manipulation.

With a final, combined attack, they overpower the villain, rendering him unconscious. Exhausted but victorious, they stand side-by-side, catching their breath amidst the scattered leaves and remnants of the villain's illusions. The unexpected field trip takes a dramatic turn, transforming from a training exercise into a secret mission.
