it was the typical friday afternoon at Seoul High-school. It was quite the hectic day for all the students because winter break was near and they had a winter festival that they were gonna organise, like every other year, before the winter break.
however, even in this busy schedule, hwang hyunjin, was busy wondering around in the hallway, looking at every classroom to see if he can find the person he is searching for.
amidst the chaos of the students, he heard his name being callled when caused him to halt on his steps and turn around, to look at who was calling him.
it was han jisung.
"where the heck are you wondering around? aren't you supposed to be helping your team?" jisung said as he raised his brows.
"i will, I'm just looking for someone right now, i told them that I'll back" hyunjin replied, still looking at everywhere just incase that person passes by, he didn't want to miss it.
"is it him again that you're looking for?" jisung asked, after he remembered about the person hyunjin was looking for.
hyunjin scratched the back of his neck as he shyly nodded his head. "yeah, it's him" he answered.
"hyunjin, do you even realise that you literally search for him everywhere we go in this school?" jisung said, and as much as he loved his friend, he was kind annoyed because hyunjin would just look at him from afar without making a move.
"it's not my fault okay? i can't help it when he's just so cute and pretty" hyunjin said as he thought about him.
"and when are you confessing? i bet he doesn't even know that someone's always looking for him, i mean, passing by his class just so you can catch a glimpse of his face? bro you're so cooked" jisung said as he laughed.
"shut up, and i don't think i can confess when he doesn't even know who i am" hyunjin pouted, but then he felt a encouraging pat on his shoulder.
"don't worry, I'm sure he won't be able to say no to the handsome face of yours" jisung wiggled his eyebrows.
"yeah yeah whatever, i have to go now, i can't miss him" hyunjin said as he bid his goodbyes with jisung and ran towards the same hallway that he uses everytime.
as he went there, he adjusted his uniform and hair, and tried to look as nonchalant as possible, but failed miserably because when he was looking so beautiful.
hyunjin stopped by the window, he found that the person who he was looking for, for so long, was actually sleeping so beautifully. 'how can anyone be so beautiful while sleeping?' hyunjin thought.
he was so engrossed with him that he didn't hear the poor junior who was calling him, not until he felt a pat.
"sunbae, do you need anything?" the girl asked, looking confused. "h-huh? oh no no, i was just passing by" hyunjin said, feeling embarrassed. "but why were you staring at innie?" the girl asked, but hyunjin was confused, "who's innie?"
"the boy who's asleep, or should i say, the boy you were staring at for solid 5 minutes" the girl chuckled. "o-oh, umm i wasn't staring" hyunjin denied.
"it's okay sunbae, you're not the first one who's done that" the girl said. "so he's that popular?" hyunjin asked and the girl nodded. "yeah, you could say so. but hey, you're not that unpopular either" hyunjin shrugged. he didn't pay attention to the people when he had someone who got his attention.
"so, when are you gonna ask him out?" the girl asked, crossing her arms. "i don't know if i should, he doesn't even know me" hyunjin said, feeling sad.
"sunbae, you're literally popular among the students as the 'handsome senior', what makes you think that he doesn't know you?" the girl said making hyunjin quite surprised as it was his first time hearing it.
"really?" hyunjin asked as the girl nodded her head. "but i don't know if he's into boys or not" hyunjin said again. "you can make him start liking boys" the girl said casually.
"i think most of the students know about your little crush on innie because of how obvious you are when we always pass by the hallway used by us, the juniors when your classroom is in another building" the girl chuckled yet again looking at the embarrassed hyunjin. "and to add the fact that you're always staring at him"
"god this is embarrassing" hyunjin said as he looked at the ground. "but, from what i know, if you ask him out, he isn't gonna say no to you" the girl winked at him "I'm gonna help you out as much as i can, sunbae, but you have to do everything on your own, byee sunbae!" the girl walked inside the classroom.
and as much as hyunjin wanted to go inside and talk a little more with the girl as to how she knew that he was gonna say yes to him if he asked him out, he couldn't because jeongin was asleep and he didn't want to wake him up.
so he decided to admire jeongin for a little more and then made his way to his own building. he still couldn't get over the fact that jeongin's nickname was innie. it was so cute and for what!?
hyunjin decided that he was gonna talk to the junior again at lunch and ask her for some advice so he can ask jeongin out.
