it was the saturday morning and hyunjin who would usually wake up at around 12-1 woke up quite early at around 7. It was very unusual for him but he couldn't help it, he was so nervous yet so excited for today.
last night, he fell asleep while dreaming about how him and jeongin would look after they became a couple. I know, he's getting far ahead of the reality now but he's just a poor boy who's in love.
After waking up, the first thing he did was to remember jeongin's angelic face. Hyunjin had fallen for jeongin hard . after thinking about jeongin like he usually does, he went to freshen up and went downstairs to the kitchen.
"woah, THE hwang hyunjin waking up early in the weekend? he's got you whipped hyung" ri-ki, who was eating a pancake said after looking at hyunjin. "you don't need to tell me when you were the one who woke up at literally 5 in the morning the day you asked sunoo out" hyunjin rolled his eyes.
"whatever, anyways what's your plan for today?" ri-ki asked, changing the topic after he was called out for being just as whipped for sunoo. hyunjin shrugged his shoulders "I'll take him to a dog's cafe and then I'll take him to a amusement park that has recently been opened"
"oh? the typical amusement park asking out" hyunjin lightly hit ri-ki's shoulder. "look, i don't know okay? my brain has not been working properly ever since he agreed to hang out with me" hyunjin pouted as ri-ki chuckled. he could definitely relate to his cousin.
"okay...but what are you gonna give to him today? have you thought about it yet?" ri-ki asked as hyunjin nodded his head. "I'll give him a bouquet of flowers since he loves them, and some strawberry flavoured chocolates" hyunjin said, remembering yura's suggestion.
"damn, he got you spending all your money on him. i wonder how much you'll spend once y'all start dating" ri-ki chuckled, but hyunjin's cheeks heated up. "I'm ready to spend all money on him as long as he's happy"

after a little chit chat with his cousin he was back to panicking, because he was getting so nervous. "hmm i look good in these " he thought to himself as he checked himself out in the mirror.
"okay next is perfume" he talked to himself as he hurried and sprayed some of his luxurious perfume on himself. he took a last look at himself and went to go pick up jeongin.
the ride to jeongin's house seemed so long for hyunjin, he kept checking his watch to make sure that he didn't mess up the time. as he parked the car in front of the cute little house of jeongin's he exited the car and leaned on it.
"i can do this" he said to himself as he made his way towards the front door. He rang the door bell and waited for a minute. the door was soon opened by jeongin himself, and hyunjin swore to god he's never seen anyone this pretty.
"hi sunbae" jeongin smiled at him and hyunjin melted in that smile of his. "h-hi jeongin...oh! here, i bought you this" hyunjin said with an embarrassed look as he give jeongin the flowers and chocolates. jeongin's eyes widened as the smile turned even brighter.
"thank you so much sunbae, i love this!" jeongin said as he looked at hyunjin with those eyes. hyunjin turned red as he avoided eye contact with jeongin. "I'm glad you loved it...let's go now, shall we?" hyunjin tried to play it cool as they made their way to hyunjin's car.
"you know how to drive?" jeongin asked, amazed with the luxurious car. "my dad taught me, this car was gifted by him too" jeongin nodded as he was still surprised as to how rich hyunjin was.
"may i ask where we're going?" jeongin asked as hyunjin chuckled but nodded. "we're going to a dog's cafe, i don't know if you'll like it though" jeongin shook his head "i LOVE dogs so much" hyunjin smiled, seeing jeongin so excited. "well we're here"
taking jeongin to a dog's cafe was a very good idea because hyunjin had never seen jeongin with animals and jeongin was SO cute with those puppies. the puppies also seem to like jeongin very much. seeing jeongin play with the puppies and talk to them in a baby voice, it already made his day.
"i really love this subae, thank you so much" jeongin thanked him as he patted the pet's fur. "you can call me hyung, no need to call me sunbae, it feels a bit too formal" hyunjin chuckled as jeongin nodded his head
after having some chit chat and getting to know about each other, hyunjin realized just how pure jeongin is by heart. it made him fall for him deeper and adore him.
"by the way hyung, how long have you and yura been dating for?" jeongin suddenly asked as he shipped on his drink. hyunjin choked on his drink as he coughed out lough. jeongin's eyes widened as he stood up and immediately helped hyunjin. after hyunjin recovered from the shock he spoke.
"me and yura....dating?" hyunjin asked as jeongin was the one who was looking confused now. "yeah...aren't you guys dating?" hyunjin chuckled as he shook his head. "i just started talking to her yesterday, and i get that she's helped me a lot but we are not dating by any means" hyunjin made it clear and jeongin blused from embarrassment. It was funny how jeongin thought that him and yura were dating.
"I'm sorry about assuming things, it just looked like that and the students were also talking about you guys" jeongin said as hyunjin looked shocked. "what? i didn't know they were saying those things" jeongin nodded his head as he drank his drink.
after they cleared the misunderstanding, hyunjin now decided to take jeongin to the amusement park that had just opened few weeks ago.
"i heard that this amusement park had opened just few weeks ago" jeongin said as his eyes sparkled with joy. "I've been wanting to come here" jeongin said with a smile as he looked at jeongin, who was already staring at him.
"thank you, hyung" jeongin thanked hyunjin and hyunjin blushed. "no worries, let's go explore now?" hyunjin said as he took the courage to hold jeongin's hand which the younger didn't deny. instead jeongin looked at their intertwined hands and smiled to himself.
they had the best night of their lives in the amusement park, riding different rides and trying out different games and foods. hyunjin mostly focused on jeongin but whatever.
at the end of day, hyunjin drove jeongin to his house. opening the door for him as jeongin shyly thanked him.
"hyung, really, thank you so much for today" jeongin said as he blushed. "it's not a big deal, i...umm....i had something i wanted to tell you" hyunjin nervously stated as jeongin nodded his head, indicating that he was listening.
"um...it may sound weird since we've only hung out today but...i-i really like you, i have liked you for a very long time, e-everything you do just makes my heart flutter and even though we don't know each other well...i hope you can give me a chance so i can prove myself to you" hyunjin looked at the ground as he closed his eyes shut. he did it, he finally said what he wanted to say.
it was complete silence and hyunjin thought it was over for him. he was ready to go home and cry himself to sleep but he fel a soft hand on his cheeks, making him look up. he saw jeongin smiling at him and then jeongin hugged him.
"hyung, i really do want to give you a chance. i hope we can spend some time together" jeongin said and hyunjin sighed, hugging the younger back as jeongin giggled.
"thank you so much, jeongin, i love yo- i-I'll prove myself to you"
