By the following morning Pidge had informed us that the whole Sendak incident hadn't been for nothing. We were able to get some of his memories. Allura called for us all to go to the lab so we could discover what information Sendak had.
"Somewhere within Sendak's memories we should be able to find the inside information that gives us the key to take down Zarkon." Allura spoke as Pidge worked on the computer. I was crouched beside their left mesmerized at how quickly they flew across the keyboard. They were so smooth with it, not even looking down.
"I don't think your father would approve of searching through an enemy's memories." Coran worried.
"I know, but we have to do everything we can to defeat Zarkon." Allura tried to reassure him, I don't think it worked well though.
"Hey, there are much more brutal ways to get information. Was it super invasive, yes, but it's not like we tortured this information out of Sendak. You did say the process was painless." I added, I mean it is an effective method and the Galra don't seem like the type to let information out.
"Yeah, once we learn all his weaknesses we can drive up to his front door and challenge him to a fight. Winner gets the universe!" Lance agreed. We side eyed him.
"Anything good yet, Pidge?" Keith asked, moving on.
"We were only able to salvage bits and pieces." They replied.
"We need something we can work with." Keith sighed, "Right now, we don't even have a decent map of the empire."
"Who needs a map? After 10,000 years of conquering I could probably fire my bayard at any random point in space and hit a Galra ship." Lance sassed.
"If we could just find troop locations or supply routes, small targets we could hit-and-run, then we could start to free planets one by one." Shiro contemplated.
"Boring. I want the big kaboom." Lance yawned.
"Zarkon's been building his empire for 10,000 years. We're not going to tear it down overnight with five inexperienced pilots and one support ship. Hitting him where he lives would be a huge mistake." Damn Shiro, way to be the voice of reason.
"Okay, I've cross-referenced Sendak's memories with the info I got from the downed ship back on Arus. Most of it was a garbled mess, but one thing kept repeating, something called a 'Universal Station'." Pidge announced.
"Universal Station? Like the kind of station that controls the entire universe?" Hunk asked, getting closer to the screen. Pidge shoved his head out of the way and continued explaining.
"Well, we are translating from Galra, so it could be 'Galactic Hub'."
"Or 'Space Base'." Lance joked. We stared at him for a bit this time. "What?" He asked.
"I'm pulling up the location of your Universal Hub Station Base on our screens now." Coran showed its a projection of, well, something.
"So, where is it?" Lance asked again, nothing looked out of the ordinary.
"I don't know. Our long-range sensors are unable to find anything at those coordinates." Coran confessed.
"Maybe he remembered it wrong." Keith suggested.
"Or ,Abe we just stumbled across a top-secret base in Sendak's memories." Pidge added.
"Only one way to find out. Let's go take a look." Allura moved over to the controls and began taking the ship to wherever these coordinates led.

It took a few hours but we'd finally arrived a metal structure based on what looked to be a large chunk of a planet between two others.
