Imprisoned

I woke up with a huge migraine, my chest ached and I felt like I had been hit by a truck. What happened and where am I? It looked like some kind of cell, my hands were tied behind my back. It made it hard to sit up. I tried to figure out how I got here but the more I thought the worse my migraine got.

Come on, please don't have a concussion. Name, what's my name?  Allura? No that's not it, or is it. I'd didn't feel right but it means something important. Allura, Allura, who's Allura? Princess! Where is she? The ship, we.... Oh shit.

Okay, so I must be in the center of Zarkon's empire. This cell, Allura might be near, but I can't do anything unless I get my hands freed.

I really can't do anything other than wait, man this sucks.

The doors to my cell opened, a creepy looking witch with two sentries flanking her sides stood menacingly outside.

"Hello child." the witch smirked, her voice sounded creaky and old. I glared at her, she laughed. "Not a talker I see, we can change that." She lifted up her hands sending black bolts of magic, it felt like my whole body was began pierced by tiny blades. The pain was unbearable.

"Tell me all how you have Altean blood and the pain can stop!" She growled over my screams. She must've been able to tell like how Shay's grandmother knew on the Balmera. I clenched my jaw, if there is a possibility other Alteans are alive I would never tell her, or Zarkon, or anyone we didn't trust. This displeased the witch and she increased the pain, everything hurts, I just want it to end.

I can't tell her, I can't. Truthfully I don't really know how myself... would she even believe me? No! Don't tell her you can't! But what hurt could the truth do but save me? She'd probably kill me after I tell her. She might accidentally kill me if I don't.

My mind became blank when the witch increased the power again, I felt myself slipping back to begin unconscious. If I did I wouldn't feel this anymore. Yeah, that sounds nice.

My body was numb, I couldn't move, I didn't want to. Breathing hurt, thinking hurt. Is this what it's like to die? I tried not to think, but it was hard, my mind kept spiraling. It was rather annoying. I felt the metal beneath me shake, a very loud crash came from outside the door. Like something had just busted down a wall. Lots of shooting too, what was going on out there?

I watched a large hole get blasted into the door, a very large guy with a cannon and funny yellow armor looked relieved to see me.

"Teagan!" He shouted coming to pull me up, I groaned, moving hurt and my legs, I couldn't feel them. "Teagan, can you walk?" Hunk, yeah that's who he is, he was concerned. At least he sounded like it, I couldn't really lift my head right now. My mouth wouldn't move either, so groaned to let him know I couldn't.

"Hunk come on, we have to help Shiro!" Allura! She's okay, at least she sounds okay. At least she's safe, and we're being rescued. But...these idiots brought Voltron right to Zarkon! Hunk pulled me inside the Yellow Lion.

"Okay Teagan, sit tight Allura and I will be right back." He set me down in the lions mouth. "Take this, if any Galra come for you shoot." He handed me a Galra gun. I tried to nod, my neck was to stiff though. It was a weird mix being both numb and stiff. How was I supposed to even shoot?

I tried to wiggle my fingers, it didn't hurt terribly. I went down my arms slowly trying to move them, eventually I was able to get a hand on the gun and trigger. A few soldiers passed by but not many. I was able to shoot them before they noticed me.

After a bit Hunk and Allura were back, with a very beaten Shiro. Allura picked me up and hauled me into the cockpit. Hunk wasted no time getting the Lion out of there. Allura told everyone to retreat and meet at the castle.

Allura got to work taking me with her, the paladins stayed in their lions, and Shiro went to his. Allura set me down in the bridge. All this moving hurt.

Hunk complained about no wormhole, Coran explained it was the barrier the Galra had put up. I saw what he was talking about. A giant purple sphere shield thing kept us from leaving, we wouldn't be able to leave. Something happened though, the field began to flicker until it shut off. Allura took the chance and began charging up the castle. Once we got in the wormhole something went wrong.

It felt like the castle was being pulled in different directions. Coran yelled that the integrity of the wormhole had been compromised and was breaking down.

"What does that mean?" Lance shouted.

"It means we have no control over where we're headed!" Coran answered. The castle turned and twisted on itself, gravity amplified by, well a lot. I heard everyone scream, on the screen the paladins were pulled out of the castle ending up in some random place in the universe. The castle continued rotating into oblivion.
