Thoughts

The next day came around and you were currently sitting in the bath tub taking a bath, your body covered with soap, holding your hands up with soap. You couldn't stop thinking about Alastor's deal. If you gave up your soul he would protect you. You had powers, you could protect yourself.. couldn't you?

You shake your thoughts away and drain the tub, standing up and stepping onto the towel that was in front of the bath tub. You grab an extra towel and wrap it around your body, drying yourself off.

You walk out of the bathroom and back into your bedroom, walking over towards your bed and sitting down. You grab your phone and look through sinstagram for a bit, seeing Angel and Cherry had followed you. You smile a bit as you add them back, scrolling through their sinstagram for a moment.

You noticed Angel had posted the photo of you, him, and Cherry from the night of your return from Heaven, your eyes softening up a bit. Your thoughts also wandered back to Lucifer and that night, causing a small frown to cross your face.

You hadn't spoken or seen him since that night.. maybe you really did think he hated you and didn't wanna speak to you no more. You let out a soft sigh before a soft knock was on your door, along with a soft voice.

"Y/N? It's Charlie, may I come in?"

Charlie spoke in a polite and soft tone, waiting for your response before stepping in. You set your phone to the side and quickly get up to grab a simple pair of clothes to change into.

"One moment!"

You call out as you drop your towel to the floor, putting on the long sleeve shirt and the flare pants you decided to wear for the day, you grab the towel and hang it up over the chair to dry before walking towards the door, opening it.

"Hey Charlie, sorry I was just getting dressed."

You say with a soft smile, stepping aside to allow her to enter. Charlie smiles and shakes her head as she steps inside, waving her hand in the air.

"No worries! I just wanted to talk to you about.. somethings that you may have heard."

Charlie says in a more sympathetic tone, walking over and slowly sitting down on the edge of your bed. You watch as she walked toward towards your bed and sat down, you had a feeling of what she was going to tell you.

"I think I have an idea of what you'rere going to say."

You say in a gentle tone, walking over towards your bed and sitting down next to Charlie, putting your hands over your lap as you look away, staying quiet.

Charlie stays quiet as she looks at you, fiddling with her fingers nervously to try and find the right words to explain everything to you.

"Listen, Y/N.. I know that you're upset for not being known about the extermination and I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner."

She started to say, letting out a soft sigh as she looked away for a moment, putting her hands over her chest.

"It's just.. you were already going through so much. Falling from.. Earth you called it? Down here to Hell. And then what happened with my dad.. I just didn't wanna put any more stress on you."

Charlie explained, putting a gentle hand on your shoulder for some sort of comfort. You stay quiet as you listen to her words. You know she meant well and that she would never wanna hurt you or anyone. But it still hurt that no one would speak to you about this, something that could possibly get you killed.

"I appreciate your apology, Charlie. But this is something serious. This is something that could get me killed. I know you mean well and you were just concerned, but when it's something as serious as this.. I would want to be informed before hand, not a month before."
