Welcome to Hell (Lucifer Morningstar x Fem reader)

Who are you?

You venture deeper into the woods, pushing branches away and avoiding obstacles that came your way. The leaves that were making your path, suddenly went downwards a hill, a hill you weren't expecting which made you.. fall.

You rolled down the hill, yells of fear and surprise leaving your lips before you landed face first, your body covered in now scratches and dirt, branches in your hair, a soft groan leaving your lips. You slowly push yourself up, dusting the dirt off your clothes as you look around. It was a darker part of the woods, making you gulp slightly with nervousness, 'why did I do this?' You thought to yourself before following the leaves once more.

As you walk, you notice a shadow figure up ahead, your eyes narrowing as you tried to look at the shadow to see who it was. But even as you got closer, you couldn't recognize the shadow. It was someone new.

But before you could even say anything, the person suddenly moved, turning their body so they could face you, a warm and wide grin on their face.

"My dear.. you're finally here.."

The mysterious person says, slowly looking up at you with a wide grin on their face. It.. was a woman. A.. creepy looking woman. Her skin was grey, she had a large black hat with a white tie wrapped around the center, white and red underneath with a red bow. Her hair was long and messy, black and red mixed together with dark red eyes. She had large black claws and wore a grey and black tube top, a red and black long jacket, with some black leggings, sitting crisscrossed.

"..Who.. who are you? And— why are you here?"

You asked with curiosity in your tone, slowly stepping closer to her before stopping yourself. You didn't know who she was or what she could do. You had to keep your distance.

The woman chuckled, placing her hand over her chest as she took in your appearance, her grin widening up to her eyes.

"Oh dear, you should know exactly who I am. Don't you recognize my voice?"

She asked with that same soothing voice you grew used to within these few months, your body relaxing slightly, your face softening slightly. Her voice sure didn't match her face, but even so.. that voice was so soothing and sweet, it would send you into slumber listening it so much.

"As for who I am? My name is Roo. And why I'm here.. well my dear.. that's a long story. But the most important thing is.. how I'm going to help you."

Roo said as she slowly stood from where she was standing, walking over towards you with a relaxed look on her face. You slowly stepped back as she walked towards you, your eyes gazing up at her with curiosity and wonder.

Roo stops in front of you, taking in your appearance with a smile, slowly reaching her hands out to cup your cheeks, gently stroking your skin with her thumbs.

"A human.. I haven't seen a human in such a long time.. especially as one as beautiful as you."

Roo whispered as she stroked your hair before slowly pulling her hands away, placing them behind her back before walking over towards a small rock and sitting down, hands in her lap.

Your eyes follow her as she sits on the rock, slowly taking a deep breath before following her, standing a couple meters away from her, looking at her with wonder.

"So.. how are you gonna help me?"

You ask with softness in your voice, almost afraid to ask. You didn't know this woman, yet for some odd reason.. you could feel yourself wanting to trust her. But something inside you told you not to, like it wasn't a good idea. But you had to hear her out.

Roo chuckles softly at your question, looking over at you with sparkling eyes and mischief, taking a moment to hum to herself before answering your question.

"Well.. it's simple. You're a human down here in Hell. The only way for you to fit in is to become a demon. But, I've seen that someone already told you that and you declined that offer, is that right?"

Roo question as she looked over at you with her eye brows raised, a smug smile on her lips. You stared at her with disbelief, your eyes widening slightly in surprise. 'How would she know that? She wasn't there.. At least I don't think she was.. how did she..'

"I can read your thoughts, darling. And to make it simple— I've been watching you this whole time."

Roo simply pointed out, clasping her hands together as she stood up once more, walking over towards you with a more serious look in her eyes.

"I know you don't want to die, you want to stay human. But unfortunately for you.. the more you stay down here in Hell, the more demon you become without even realizing it."

Roo said as she reached over, gently pulling your bangs back to reveal the two medium sized red horns coming from your forehead, indicating her point on becoming a demon. Your eyes widened as she lifted your bangs and revealed the horns, your hand moving to gently touch them.

"..How.. when.. h-how did I get these? A-and when did I get them?"

You ask in shock and confusion, lightly pressing down on the horns, making sure they were real and not your imagination. All this time, you've never realized you had them. How could you not? You've taken showers with hair out of your face.. the headaches.. there were signs you couldn't see.

"You've had them for quite some time. And that apple Lucifer gave you? Made the process of your transformation even faster."

Roo explained as she watched you mess with the horns, making sure they were real in amusement. It was funny, seeing a human so confused about demon magic.. it was amusing to her.

You looked over at Roo as she mentioned Lucifer, putting your bangs down to cover the horns. Lucifer. How does she know Lucifer? Well.. he is the King of Hell, he's pretty known. But— how could he give her an Apple that would transform her into a demon quicker?

"Why.. why would he give me an Apple that would speed up the transformation? He knows I didn't wanna become a demon. So why.."

"He was trying to protect you from the other demons since you had that human scent. But everything comes with a price, right?"

Roo asked with a smile, slowly moving her arm to wrap around your shoulders, pulling you closer to her side as she let out a sigh of content.

"So.. you wanna hear my proposal? Or do you never wanna be seen again?"

Roo asks in that same soothing voice that drew you in like a moth to a flame, her eyes glowing red as she awaited for your reply.

You stared up at her for a moment, debating or not to hear her out. She was right in a way. If you're down in Hell, you will become a demon, that's what Vaggie and Lucifer told you anyway. You stay quiet for a moment, taking a moment to think before letting out a gentle sigh.

"..I'll hear you out."
