You enjoyed the rest of the party after Lucifer left without any answers, just trying to have a good time and not worry about what went on between the two of you for the rest of the night.

While you sat at a table drinking a cup of punch, Vaggie and Charlie were dancing on the dance floor with Angel and Cherry, leaving you alone to your thoughts.

You wondered.. what made him pull back so suddenly? Why he left so quickly? Was it something you said? Something you did? Maybe it was because you two were about to kiss? But everything seemed to be going well.. what changed..

As you continued to drown yourself in your thoughts while drinking some punch, Alastor appeared next to you, causing your eyes to go wide and spit out some of the punch, coughing out harshly.

"You— y-you have to stop doing that."

You say in between breaths, grabbing a napkin and wiping your mouth with it as Alastor just laughed out, twirling his cane before setting it on the ground.

"Oh dear, that's what I do best!"

He said cheerfully before seeing your saddened expression, causing his eye brows to raise as he leaned his elbow against the table, his hand on his cheek.

"What's wrong, my dear? Did Lucifer never show up?"

He questioned with his usual wide grin, tilting his head slightly. You shake your head at his question, letting out a soft sigh as you set your cup down on the table.

"No.. he did come and we were having a really good time dancing on the dance floor.. but then.. we were.. we were about to kiss a-and he suddenly pulled back and left! And I can't figure out what went wrong! I thought.. something was finally happening between us.."

You say in a disappointed tone, letting out another sigh as you slouch in your chair, a frown on your face. Alastor listened to your story, tapping his claws against the table, his expression becoming more and more interesting the more he listened.

"Huh.. you two were about to kiss and he suddenly pulled away? Well, that does sound pretty interesting, doesn't it?"

He hummed in wonder, glancing to the side for a moment before looking back at you. You watched as Charlie and Vaggie danced happily on the dance floor, your thoughts going back to you and Lucifer dancing, causing you to feel more down about it.

"I think I'm gonna head to bed for the night.. I'm just not feeling it anymore."

You say softly as you standing up from your chair, grabbing your empty cup and throwing it in the trash. Alastor watches you stand from your seat as he ford the same, fixing his tie and twirling his cane, setting it on the ground.

"Need me to accompany you to your room?"

He asked with a grin while you waved him off and shook your head, a small smile on your face.

"Thank you, Alastor but I think I'll be alright. Just let everyone know I'm leaving, okay? Goodnight."

You say kindly before walking away from Alastor and walking towards the exit of the ballroom. You glance back at everyone having fun before sighing out, finally walking out of the room and towards your bedroom.

Once you reached your room, you closed the door behind you and began taking everything off. The crown, the heels, the dress, your hair, your makeup— everything you wore.
