Reunion

A couple of weeks go by after your date with Lucifer. Nothing really interesting happens, only that you and Lucifer finally told the hotel about your relationship, which everyone was supportive about! So, you spent the next couple weeks helping with the hotel or hanging out with Lucifer, either or.

However, one morning you were interrupted from your sleep to the sounds of commotion downstairs in the Hotel, causing you to quickly get out of bed and get ready for the day then go figure out what was going on.

Once you made it downstairs, everyone from the hotel was.. surrounding someone? You thought maybe it was a sinner joining the hotel. Not wanting to be rude, you made your way over with a warm and friendly smile on your face. But before you could even say a word, the figure you were looking at seemed.. very very familiar.

She was a taller woman, with long blond hair that almost hit the floor. She wore a long and sparkly purple dress with purple gloves, a white beaded necklace with a black crown on her head. She also had two pairs of large red horns. Who was this woman? And why did she look so.. familiar? You thought.

As you were trying to figure out who it was, Charlie noticed you in the back thinking about something before she ran up to you with a bright smile on her face, taking your hands in hers and pulling you towards the crowd.

"Y/N! You won't believe it! My mom came back! My mom is here!"

Charlie happily exclaimed and that's when it hit you. It was Lilith! The Queen of Hell! The woman on the pictures in Lucifer's mansion! Lucifer's ex-wife! No wonder she looked so familiar to you. You stayed quiet as you allowed Charlie to pull you towards the crowd, approaching Lilith with a dazed look.

Lilith had noticed your look almost immediately, her golden eyes piercing down at you with an intense look before she smiled down at you, walking over towards you slowly, her purple heels clicking against the hotel's floor.

"Why hello, my dear. I've heard quite a lot about you. You must be, Y/N, is that correct?"

Lilith spoke in a soothing tone, her warm smile remaining on her face. You just stared up at her in awe, if you thought Lucifer was intense.. she felt even more intimidating. After a few moments of not speaking, you eventually shook your head and cleared your throat.

"Y-Yes, m-ma'am.. my names Y/N. It's very nice to meet you."

You say gently, bowing down slightly before Lilith let out a heartily laugh, putting her hand over her chest and shaking her head at you.

"Oh dear, you don't need to do all that. Sit up straight."

Lilith said with a warm smile on her face, folding her hands in front of her. You immediately sat up as you looked at her, watching her interact with the rest of the group. You didn't know what it was, but something about her seemed.. off. Why was she here? What made her come back? And right after the extermination. It wasn't making sense to you.

While the group were all speaking with Lilith, a bright light entered the lobby as Lucifer stepped out from his portal, a soft sigh leaving his lips as he readjusted his hat, the portal closing behind him.

"Sorry for the delay, Charlie. What did you need me for exactly—"

Lucifer spoke before he looked up and saw Lilith standing in the lobby of the hotel, his eyes widening immediately. He dropped his cane to the ground and froze in place, his pupils dilating. Lilith looked over to see Lucifer, her expression softening before she walked over towards him gracefully.

"Lucifer.. my dear."

Lilith whispered softly as she leaned forward to face Lucifer fully, her arms moving to wrap around Lucifer, the two embracing each other. Everyone in the hotel watched the two in awe, warm smiles on their faces. You stood off to the side watching the two in silence, it was a heartwarming scene but it also made you feel a bit.. weird, but you didn't say anything.

Once the two finally pulled back from the embrace, Lucifer immediately wiped the tears from his cheeks, a warm smile on his face as he looked up at Lilith with adoration.

"Where.. where have you been all this time? Why are you here? H-How did you get here? Why did you leave in the first place?"

Lucifer asked many questions in which Lilith just chuckled a bit in amusement, putting a hand over her chest as she took a deep breath, keeping her emotions in check.

"I'll explain everything later. For now.. let's just enjoy the moment and catch up.. Charlie?"

Lilith spoke in her soothing tone before glancing over at Charlie, extending her hand towards her with a warm smile. Charlie happily took Lilith's hand with a bright smile, the three wandering off to catch up with one another.

You watch the three disappear into the shadows, watching them happily talk to one another with a gentle expression. Vaggie had noticed your reaction as she walked over towards you, putting a hand on your shoulder.

"You alright, Y/N?"

She asked in a caring tone, a soft smile on her face. You glance over at Vaggie, noticing she picked up on your attitude as you quickly shook your head, smiling at Vaggie to reassure her.

"Yeah, yeah! I'm fine don't worry. I'm just.. surprised she's here is all."

You say as you scratch the back of your neck nervously, looking towards where the three disappeared. Vaggie nodded her head with a smile, taking her hand off your shoulder and walked off, along with the other members of the hotel.

You watch everyone leave as you sigh gently, crossing your arms over your chest. 'Something isn't right.. this is weird.. why is she here?' You thought before you could hear a static noise near you, causing you to sigh a bit knowing exactly who it was.

"What's got you so down, my dear?"

Alastor asked with his usual wide grin on his face, his static voice straining out as usual while he looked at you— his head tilted. You just looked over at him with a neutral expression before looking away, running your fingers through your hair.

"Nothing, Alastor. Just.. lost in my thoughts."

You say blankly in which Alastor replies with a raise of his eye brow, holding his radio staff in his hand with his arms behind his back while taking a few steps towards you.

"It seems to me like you don't like the Queen being so close to the King. Or should I say.. your boyfriend now."

He says with a chuckle, adjusting his monocular on his face in which you just shoot him a glare before looking away. No, of course you didn't dislike her, you just had a weird feeling about her. And the way she acted towards Lucifer and Charlie after leaving for so many years. Like how come she was acting like nothing happened? Like if she didn't feel any guilt for it. It ticked you off.

"It's nothing you have to worry about. I'm going to my room."

You say with a shrug before sighing out, rubbing the back of your head before walking towards the stairs back to your room. Alastor watches you leave with his usual grin, a bit curious on what was on your mind but decided to leave it alone for now, disappearing into the shadows.

You walk back into your room and close the door behind you, slowly sliding on the door and sitting on the ground. You were happy for Lucifer and Charlie to have Lilith back, it was nothing like that. It was the fact she showed up right after the extermination and that she was acting like leaving for 7 years wasn't a big deal! It was making you feel weird, it was ticking you off. What were her intentions on coming back? Why did she come back all of the sudden? You didn't know, but what you did know was that you would figure out why she was really here, you had to protect Lucifer.
