Forced out, that's what had happened. Megatron had been pulled back to the land of the living, his spark waking him harshly. He hadn't been gone long, not even several earth hours, but it felt as though he'd been within their bond for a few joors, at least.
Blackout remained atop the hospital, looming protectively. He stood as a warning to any and all who even dare think of commencing any misdoings. And though the chopper may not have been of the same spark as her, he felt it his duty to shield her from further harm. He told himself it was all in the name of Megatron- all in the name of the decepticons, but that'd been a white lie told to comfort himself.
He cared, immensely so. Was he fond of humans? No, absolutely not, but if his master found her worthy, then he did too.
Detroit was lost. Mass destruction and even more casualties continued to tally up to shocking numbers. The national guard and the network of defense were swift to step in and put their foot down on many matters. Lennox, Epps, and Cade all stood to vouch for the Transformers with the Colonel sighting their previous alliances and N.E.S.T.
Simmons also had his moment to put in his two sense, not that anyone listened.
Had Harold Attinger been alive, he'd be charged with the highest of treason for allying himself with another off world being with no governmental approval. Joshua was detained and arrested as was everyone else involved, excluding scientists. James Savoy had yet to be seen, but there was a warrant out for his arrest.
Cemetery Wind had been officially disbanded with a hasty cover up to follow.
The autobots were granted asylum once more with heartfelt condolences for the loss of their brethren on the condition that the decepticons were to leave earth in peace, all of them. If any strays were to be found, they'd meet a swift end. The autobots found their home in earth and the decepticons were granted what remained of Cybertron as well as Lockdown's ship.
That had been the plan anyhow, it'd just been formally contracted at that rate.
Kill the bounty hunter and get the ship, that'd always been the plan. It just so happened that unforeseen events transpired between the start and the finish.
Megatron had not wanted to speak to anyone, let alone government officials, humans. They talked too much formalities and he was in no mood to be instructed on what to do. So, he was left to his own devices with his subordinates taking refuge beneath the same roof.
Their alliance with the autobots was over and they were at a cease fire for the time being what it was.
In those trying hours, Soundwave had broadcasted their message to any and all decepticons left on the planet with success and then joined some familiar faces they'd not since seen in cycles.
The first to show was Shockwave, ever punctual he was. Then, came Berserker in all his crazed glory to which he was swiftly subdued like the wild animal he was.
Lockdown's ship, now theirs's rightfully, was grounded in the nearby field awaiting further repairs and general maintenance to which Shockwave valiantly agreed to oversee himself with Onslaught to follow. It was grand. Nowhere near mighty enough, but definitely able to achieve space flight with ease. It'd work.
Megatron spent his every recharge reaching out to her to no avail, so he'd conjure her bedroom and wait with the hope (and expectation) that she'd walk through the door. His days no more eventful than that with him overseeing his men, receiving patrol reports from Barricade and Blackout, with Shockwave relaying repair reports in kind. Soundwave remained steady at his side, silent as he always was, but he knew the loyalty was there. Nitrozeus spent his joors pent up with no way to release his frustrations, like a caged dog with his optic always trained on Berserker as he stalked about.
