CHAPTER - 19

"Ivan," Edik called to his son, who turned around immediately upon hearing the Voice.

"You really love your brother, don't you?" Edik asked again. confirming.

"Yes," Ivan replied firmly.

"Therefore, if you love your brother, take good care of him. Do not make him suffer," Edik reinforced.

"I promise I will take care of Danil

in the best possible way, just as you have taken care of him since birth," Ivan assured. Edik nodded, satisfied. Danil

He broke free from Anna's embrace and looked at Edik with eyes red and swollen from crying.

"I want to know who my real parents are," said Danil.

Once the conversation reached this point, I couldn't help but be curious. The four adults were silent for a moment, exchanging tense glances.

"Danil, your biological father was a very close friend of mine, and your mother was a younger colleague with whom Dema was also very close. They both suffered an accident and passed away. Before your father passed away, he entrusted us with his

guard. Mom and I wholeheartedly accept taking care of you." Edik explained briefly.

"And... what were their names?" Danil asked again.

“Your biological father was named Yeva, and your mother was named Rada,” Edik replied. Daniel

He murmured the names of his biological parents, repeating them to himself

himself. Ivan, upon hearing Danil's mother's name, frowned slightly.

At the time his parents brought Danil home, they only told him that he was Yeva's son. Ivan already knew Yeva, but he had never heard Rada's name, and so he didn't pay any attention or ask any further questions. He was just excited to have a new brother. But

now that name seemed strangely familiar.

"I want to know more about them. Can you tell me?" Danil asked. Edik and Anna exchanged an uncomfortable look.

"I can tell you if you want," Dema offered.

"Hmm," Edik nodded, and Danil turned to his uncle.

"As Edik mentioned, Yeva was a very close friend of his, while Rada was my close friend," Dema began.

"Yeva's situation was not very good, as he was an orphan, but he managed to graduate and became

teacher at a small school. Rada was the youngest daughter of a traditional family, and the two fell in love. Radar

never cared about the

Yeva's financial situation, and was willing to stay with him. However, Rada's family did not accept this relationship and did everything they could to stop them, especially the two

Rada's brothers. They wanted Rada to marry someone chosen by the family, but Rada

did not agree. So, Yeva and

Rada decided to flee abroad, and our family helped support them,” Dema continued, telling the story.

"They managed to escape, didn't they?" Danil asked. Dema nodded.
