CHAPTER - 20 🔞

After the day they told Raisa, everyone went back to living their lives normally, without caring about what Raísa would think.

Danil continued as usual with Ivan, working as a model and preparing the details for his floating casino venture. Sometimes Ivan would travel abroad for a few days or visit the fortress that produced weapons for his group, but he always hurried back to be with Danil. Now, Danil no longer resented Ivan's delay on his work trips, as they were officially in a relationship.

No one on the outside suspected the bond between the two. At social events, Ivan and Danil maintained an appropriate demeanor. Although they seemed somewhat close, there was nothing to raise suspicions.

"Um, is Roman bringing Keith to visit us?" Danil asked when Ivan told him that morning that Roman and Keith were coming. Danil mentally calculated that it had been almost a month since he had last seen Keith.

"Yes, they'll probably arrive in the middle of the night. Tomorrow we can go and meet them both," Ivan replied.

"Great! I'll take Keith for a walk," Danil said, smiling. He was still sitting on the spacious bed, having just woken up, while Ivan was getting ready to leave for a business meeting.

"And you, what are you going to do today?" asked Ivan, looking at the

"I arranged for Luka to come here. You don't mind, do you?" Danil asked first.

"Of course not. After all, this is your home too. I'm sure you know how to choose people well," Ivan replied. He was now speaking to Danil in a closer way, like before, without the distant tone of before.

"Understood. And when are you coming back?" Danil asked again.

"I don't know yet. I'll stop by the DD Casino too." replied Ivan.

"Can I go to the casino with you?" Danil asked. Ivan nodded, making Danil smile immediately. He then pouted, lifting his face. Ivan smiled and leaned in to kiss Danil.

"I'll be right there. Don't do too many stupid things, okay?" Ivan reminded him,

gently ruffling Danil's hair before leaving the room. Danil checked the time and saw that there was still a while until his meeting with Luka. He then decided to take another nap.

"Sir, Mr. Luka has arrived." Leaf warned Danil, who was watching a movie in the mansion's large living room.

"You can bring him here." Danil replied. Shortly after, Luka entered the room.

"Why are you with that?

man?" asked Danil, intrigued.

"Well, this is Ivan Balenkov's mansion, you know? I got a little tense." Luka replied, making Danil laugh.

"Have you eaten anything yet?" asked Danil.

"Yes, I have." Luka replied promptly.

"So, do you want to start talking about tea now?" Danil suggested, and Luka nodded in agreement.

"I contacted Puma. He said that as soon as you decide on a day to go, just let me know. He will send it

someone will pick you up and take you to the plantation. There, he will prepare different types of tea for you to try." Danil explained.

"Great! And if I go the day after tomorrow, is that okay?" asked Luka.

"Why did you decide to go so quickly?" Danil asked. Luka was silent for a moment, and Danil watched his friend before sighing softly.
