Daniel & Ivan (Love Syndrome)

CHAPTER - 21

When they arrived at Roman's mansion, Danil saw that Ivan and Roman were already waiting at the door. As soon as he got out of the car, Danil ran to hug Ivan's arm. Ivan stroked Danil's head to comfort him before taking Danil inside the mansion, as he wanted Roman and Keith to have a talk, since Keith had risked a lot that day.

"Tell Roman I'll be back tomorrow." Ivan said to Astro, one of Roman's men. The other nodded immediately.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" Ivan asked worriedly, as he put Danil in the car.

"No, I'm not. Keith protected me in time. He has very sharp eyes, Ivan, he realized the danger immediately." Danil replied, praising Keith sincerely.

"Well, but he was also reckless," Ivan retorted, already knowing the whole story from the security guards, about how Keith chased the criminal.

"Will Roman be mad at Keith?" Danil asked, worried that he might not be able to go out again the next day.

"I don't think so. He's just so obsessed with Keith." Ivan said based on what he had observed.

"Oh, that's right. I wanted to tell you something, but last night, with so many things... I ended up forgetting." Danil said with a shy smile.

“About what?” Ivan gently stroked Danil’s head.

"Luka and Dylan." Danil replied. Ivan arched an eyebrow and Danil began to tell Ivan the story between Dylan and Luka.

"And what do you think?" asked Ivan, as soon as Danil finished speaking.

"I think Dylan is

begin to understand his own feelings. I decided to send Luka to visit Puma in China." Danil explained.3

"Was it Luka who asked for help or was it you who offered it?" Ivan asked back.

"Luka asked for help. I follow what you always say, that if he doesn't ask, we shouldn't interfere in his affairs.

But this time Luka actually asked for my help, so I helped him." Danil explained, and Ivan nodded.

"If you need anything I can help you with, just let me know." Ivan replied, though he believed

that Danil would be able to handle the situation.

"I will need it, yes." Danil smiled, implying that he might need Ivan's help with some matters.

"I have something else to tell you. I found out why Aunt Raisa doesn't like me." Danil began, and Ivan frowned slightly. Then Danil told that Raisa

had fallen in love with Yeva, Danil's father, but since Yeva fell in love with Rada, Danil's mother, Raisa became jealous and

resentful, taking out this dissatisfaction on Danil, their son. Ivan was silent for a moment upon hearing this.

"Karev." Ivan called to his trusted bodyguard.

"Yes." Karev replied promptly.

"Our men are still monitoring Raisa, right?"

Ivan asked, remembering that he had ordered surveillance over her since he had hired the maids who had already caused trouble.

and Daniel.

"Yes." Karev confirmed.

"Intensify surveillance. I want to know who Raisa is with

contact me from now on and I want detailed reports." Ivan ordered, feeling a unusual restlessness.

"Understood, boss." Karev responded immediately and sent a message to the team.
