CHAPTER - 28

"Ivannnn!" Danil called Ivan when he saw him enter the living room of the big house. He stood up and hugged Ivan's waist, who gently stroked Danil's head. Anna watched the scene with a smile on her face.

"Why didn't you call ahead to let me know you were coming? I thought you'd be back late." Danil asked as he led Ivan to sit on the couch with him.

"I had something to discuss with the parents. But where is the father?" asked Ivan.

"He's in the office. Do you want to go there or would you rather I call you here?" replied Anna.

"We'd better go see him, because what I have to say is important," Ivan said, looking at Danil. This surprised Danil, but they walked together to Edik's office.

"Right." Ivan replied before staying for dinner with his parents. Afterwards, he took Danil back to the mansion to gather his team and put the plan into action.
