CHAPTER - 23 🔞

Ivan smiled immediately upon hearing that.

"If you have something real, why would you buy toys?" Ivan replied. Danil widened his eyes when he heard this, not believing that Ivan was playing with him like that. But of course, Danil wouldn't let Ivan have the last word without fighting back.

"But it does spice things up in bed, doesn't it? I was thinking of buying a nurse's outfit or maybe a cat one... What do you think, Ivan?" Danil asked with a mischievous smile. Ivan chuckled softly before pulling Danil into a hug, nuzzling Danil's soft face.

"Maybe. I was curious to see," Ivan replied, drawing sighs from Karev and Leaf, who were in the car and exchanged resigned looks at the couple's interaction.

When they arrived at Akira's house, he was waiting for them at the entrance to the garden. As soon as Danil got out of the car, Akira ran towards him with open arms.

"Daniiiil! I miss you so much!" Akira exclaimed excitedly, ready to hug Danil. However, Ivan quickly got in the way, and Akira ended up hugging Ivan by mistake.

When Akira realized that the body he was hugging was not soft but firm, he raised his face to look at Ivan and immediately pulled away.

"Ew, Ivan! Why are you in the way?" Akira complained, as Danil was falling apart.

"Don't hug Danil," Ivan said in a firm voice. Akira gave him a disapproving look before turning to Khimera and immediately hugging him.

"Chiiim, Ivan won't let me hug Danil, so you're going to be my victim, okay?" Akira said with a smile. Khimera remained serious, not moving away.

Akira, without returning the gesture, simply stood still. Danil watched the scene and couldn't help but laugh.

"Stop harassing Khimera! Or are you not going to invite us in?" asked Ivan. Akira scowled at him, but eventually pulled away from Khimera's solid body.

"You're such a party pooper, you know that? Come on, come in now," Akira said, leading the group into the house. He led them to the room assigned to Ivan and Danil.

"I'd like to try on a yukata," Danil commented, noticing that Akira was wearing one.

A/N :-  A yukata is a traditional Japanese garment, similar to a kimono, but lighter and more informal. It is usually made of cotton or another breathable fabric, making it ideal for summer. Yukata are often worn at summer festivals (such as matsuri), in public baths (onsen), and in traditional Japanese hotels (ryokan).

"Do you really want to? I can have someone bring one for you. Then you and Ivan can go to the onsen in costume." said Akira, smiling.

"Interesting, what do you think, Ivan?" asked Danil, holding Ivan's arm.

"Hm." Ivan muttered in

agreement.

"Have you met Thar?" Akira asked, changing the subject.

"Who?" asked Danil, curious.

"He is a boy who came with Ares." Ivan explained, since he hadn't yet told them about who Ares had brought with him.

"Oh, are you serious?" Danil asked, surprised. He knew that Ivan's group was known

for their singleness, with the exception of Ivan and Roman, who now had their respective partners.

"I think so. I've never seen Ares show so much interest in someone." Ivan replied, making Danil nod before looking at Akira.

"What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that, Danil? You're not going to fall in love with me, are you? Because I already have the Khimera in my heart!"
