Knock... Knock... Knock...

The sound of knocking on Danil's bedroom door echoed. He raised his eyebrows slightly before standing up to open the door and saw Leaf standing there, holding a large paper bag, accompanied by a smile.

"What's wrong?" asked Danil.

"Can I come in for a moment?" Leaf asked, not wanting to talk outside his boss's room. Danil allowed him to enter.

“For you,” Leaf said, handing the paper bag to Danil. He took it, confused, before opening it. Then, his eyes widened when he saw that it was the chocolate he had asked Ivan to buy, along with some jelly sweets.

"Who brought it?" Danil asked immediately, thinking that maybe Leaf had bought it somewhere else.

“Artemis brought it,” Leaf replied with a slight smile. Danil’s face darkened a little; he thought Ivan would have brought it himself.

"Artemis said the boss went to pick everything out himself before boarding the flight back," Leaf explained so Danil would know. Danil looked at Leaf as if he couldn't believe it.

"You're just saying that to please me, aren't you?" Danil asked.

"I'm telling the truth. Artemis said that the boss picked out these chocolates himself at the airport, but asked Artemis to deliver them. The boss always thinks of you," Leaf explained. Danil's heart pounded. He opened the bag of chocolates again, this time with a smile.

"Thank you. Go rest," Danil said. Leaf then left the room, while Danil walked to the couch, where he began to organize the sweets in the bag. In fact, Danil didn't even feel like eating that much; I just wanted a gift from Ivan.

Danil took a photo of the sweets and posted it on his social media with the caption: "A gift that warms the heart."

"Heh," Ivan let out a low sound from his throat as he sat in his office inside his mansion.

Karev, who was in a meeting with Ivan, looked up when he noticed him fiddling with his cell phone. Although he didn't know what Ivan was seeing, he thought it wasn't something bad, since Ivan had a slight smile on the corner of his mouth. Then Ivan placed his cell phone on the table.

"Come on, contact Akira for me. I want to discuss the auction," Ivan said. Karev promptly contacted Ivan's close friend, who was in Japan. Shortly after, Akira appeared on the screen, with blood splattered on his face.

"What are you doing?" asked Ivan. Akira smiled before adjusting the phone to show a corner of the room he was in.

("It turns out that a mouse got into the house, so I had to get rid of it," Akira replied, with a smile on his face.

"And you won't wipe the blood off your face? Aren't you afraid of catching diseases from those rats?") Ivan asked. Akira was silent for a moment.

("It's true"), Akira replied, taking a cloth from the security guard nearby and wiping the blood from his own face.

("Tsk. I was going to show you this blood just to show off, but I forgot about the diseases. Yuck, I can't even imagine what kind of stuff these rats carry.") Akira complained, making a shivering gesture. Ivan shook his head in dismay.

“I contacted him to ask about the mine auction,” Ivan said. Akira then changed to a serious tone, very different from the beginning of the conversation, and the two discussed the matter until everything was clear.

("Hey, I haven't seen Danil in a while. Bring Danil along next time, okay?") Akira said, since he had met Danil before and quite liked his personality.

"Hmm, I'll take it," Ivan replied.
